Ok, first I want to say, that its not my first time in Turkey and I am from Eastern Europe, so I understand that Turkey hotels have a bit different ratings in pretty much everything in regards to European counterparts. Their star rating and Ultra All Inclusive is a concept, which vary from hotel to hotel and does mean the same as in Europe. So when going to Turkey I have this in mind and judge accordingly, and I understand that majority of 5 stars hotels will not be the same as they should be according to the star rating. Now lest begin: 1. Rooms. 5 out 5. Rooms are new/renovated, air conditioning works perfectly, most of them have at least partial sea view. Sides of the hotel have pool view with a lot of pool noise or street/back alley view. Nothing wrong here. 2. Service. 5 out of 5. Reception and main staff speaks English, rooms are cleaned by request or every other day. Animators and entertainers are ok, most of them also speak English. Although Russian language is more popular here, but this is no surprise, having in mind the public that go to Turkey. Hotel have it's own SPA center, which requires separate mention. Hamam and massages are awesome and not that expensive, you can get a combo for 40 euros. SPA staff is super cool, separate shout out to them. There is a transfer from the hotel to leather shop with a hotel shuttle, but I would not bother, unless you are ready to hassle for the price. If you are ready to hassle, you can get a good deal on leathers. 3. Hotel, pools, utilities. 3,5 out of 5. Hotel itself is nice, new/renovated. Pool area is ok, although not enough sunbeds. Heat management within the hotel is somewhat acceptable. Main areas like reception and lobby are nice and cool, but hallways are hot. But I guess its ok, since managing hallways is tricky when you have so many doors open. But the dining area have cooling issues. Once the food starts to go, its reasonably ok, but after 30-40 minutes it gets hot inside, pretty much impossible to eat normally, unless you sit right under the AC unit. Another issue are pool schedules. Kids pool is have running water only few hours a day. Main pool close at around 7 PM. Slides are also working couple hours every day. Once they start to work its impossible to get a bed around. The only alternative left after 7 PM is sea and sea beach. Pools are clean. Although hotel is divide into several blocks and to get to the kids pool and slides you have to go across the small street. 4. Beach. 5 out of 5. Beach is big and mostly rough sand. Lots of sunbeds. Sea bottom is mostly sand, you have around 1 meter of stones line right after you enter the sea, but after that its sand. No complains hear, and its only a short walk under the road from the hotel. 5. Food and drinks. 2 out of 5. Now this is where it gets worse. I realize that in order to facilitate all these Ultra All Inclusive guests you have to cut corners. You have to make food as cheap as possible while making it eatable. My taste is not
