Perfect location if you are being picked up for the hike up in the Himalayas. I had booked a king room with air con. Turns out air con only blows cold air and not hot air. Was a bit disappointed. But, it wasn’t that cold for an early Jan winter.

Best you can have in affordable prices and the staff was amazing like you’re meeting your friends. Specially the Ankit, Abhishake & Udit Bhai. You can tease Abhishake a little you get nice comebacks from him. You can the pictures with the review. They will help you with all the booking Bungy Jumping rafting and Scooty on rent too. Come on solo trip but made some really good friends. Food is amazing specially the bad ass burger must. See you next time guys.

The ambience of the property was dynamic the best part of the stay is witnessing the river Ganga through the balcony of the cafe my stay was really very comfortable the food was amazing the guys at the reception Udit & Ankit was mind-blowing personalities. Definitely stay again with the Shalom backpackers hostels.

My wife and me are in our late fifties and our daughters decided to send us to Rishikesh on my wife's birthday. They booked the flight tickets and took the premium room at Shalom Backpackers, Rishikesh paying a hefty price from 28/03/2025 to 31/03/2025. Our ordeal started once we reached the hotel and saw the room. The room was dirty, floors unclean, walls had dampness and at some places the plaster was coming out. There was a stench in the room that was nauseating. The bathrooms were unkempt, unclean with no water pressure and everything like the towels, blankets, bed sheets, glasses, coffee maker etc. seemed unhygienic and unusable. The tv in the room was not functional. The room was effectively on the 6th floor with a terrace and there is no lift facilities making it difficult for older people to go up and down. We did take up all these issues with the management but all that they did was sympathise. All in all it was just burning away your money for nothing.

The room was perfect. The food at the cafeteria was delicious and the view from the cafe balcony is very stunning. The manager Ankit is amazing and very friendly nature. Overall experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend to all traveller who is going to come to rishikesh. Must visit Shalom backpackers.

What a incredible hospitality by team, I never seen like this before in my whole life. Very neat and clean place with amazing host. Ankit was so adorable person during my whole stay. Thank you team Shalom. I enjoyed my stay a lot. Washroom is super clean they do it two three times in a day that's why it was so clean.

Everything was great. The property has a ganga view location. They have in house cafe you can have very good food at a very affordable price. Ankit & Harsh were really helpful and helped us in all possible way. Our overall experience was amazing. I would highly recommend to others too.

It was a excellent stay. The ganga view from the property is stunning and the food at the cafeteria was delicious. The guys at the receptionist Ankit & Harsh are amazing people. We will come back again if, they are still working there. Overall experience was great.

Had a amazing stay here. I stayed for 2 days and everything was neat and hygiene. The ganga view from the property is stunning. The manager Ankit was helpful during the stay and the night manager Harsh was helpful too. Ovell experience was great. I would highly recommend to all solo traveller.
