Niraamaya Retreats Samroha Athirappilly

Loved my stay at Niramaya! We stayed for four days, and each day was truly memorable. The team was excellent throughout! Special thanks to Devanash—his leadership was outstanding and added a personal touch to the whole experience. I'm a global trotter, but I’ve never received such a thoughtful gift before. By the end of our stay, the entire team felt like family!

We stayed at Niraamaya for a couple of days and had a family get together - members consisting of all age groups (infant to elderly) and health status ! The staff took care of all special needs sensitively Highlight of our stay : 1. Calming location - listening to the gurgling waterfall and rapids, chirping birds and looking at the cloud cover wafting through the forested mountains - calmed our ‘stressed from work’ urban selves 2. Food - authentic Kerala food served expertly by knowledgeable restaurant staff - delicious 3. Surprise dinner - the staff organised a wonderful ambience and some memorable moments - gifts! Personal attention and presence was magical 4. Tri-waterfall tour - the safari with a knowledge driver who regaled us with ‘elephant and tiger stories’ gave us a flavour of the forest life ! Above all the GM Devansh - orchestrated a wonderful experience with his team - one of our best holidays as a Family! Highly recommend 4. Gym - last but not the least - the gym is well equipped and not crowded

We went for a night with full stay at the property. The property is excellent one with proper cleanliness and awesome hospitality by its staff. The team lead by Devansh is exceptional at their job. The breakfast was really superb with lot of varities. Buffet was tasty and good but in terms of items it was average. we booked superior room with river view but Devansh was so kind to upgrade them to delux with waterfall view and the view from the balcony was really awesome in morning. night was peacefull with clear sky and sound of water flowing it's was real bliss . I would recommend all those who are looking for a weekend get away and planning to spend full day at resort. It's 5 star property with very good staffs lead by Devansh. Property is a Thumbs up for both families and youngsters. Amenities: a small childrens play room Carroms, chess, tt table , an infinity pool with kids area of about 2ft dept and rest 5m4ft depth. No dress restrictions at pool Dinning: both ala carte and buffet available for dinner and also and Bar is also available. Food was really nice with both north indian food and kerala cuisines. We have not tried continental foods so no idea about them. View: river side property with a good garden . And 7 rooms have river view and 7 rooms have water fall view from balcony. Spa available. The yiu also have cottages opening tot he gardens. Rooms were good, clean and also bathrooms has all the amenities. Property was really calm and. Refreshing. A beautifully situated hotel with a warm welcome! Stunning views in the heart of the jungle And with views of the waterfall!! Warm friendly staff and tasty food. Lovely to have access to a bar!

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. On arrival we had a warm traditional welcome and were greeted by the manager, Devansh and his staff. We were upgraded to a private pool cottage which was amazing. All the staff in the hotel were so friendly, obliging and obviously professionally trained in their respective professions, taking pride in all they did. We have never enjoyed service like this and it was obvious that the GM oversaw everything from breakfast to dinner and everything in between. Spa was amazing experience also, relaxing and very atmospheric. The setting was breath taking and the view incredibly beautiful. The photos are fab but do not do the place justice. The wait staff were so helpful, giving us loads of helpful suggestions. We are not familiar with Indian cuisine and they suggested combinations and offered loads of different to things to try which greatly enhanced our experience. On check out the GM ensured everything was 100% (as he had done several times during our stay) and even had a mini Bon Voyage cake to send us off! In short I’d give this hotel and staff 10 stars if I could! I will make every effort to return and can’t wait to recommend it to everyone I know.

The resort is beautiful. It was almost 2.5 hours away from Cochin airport. It's right at the river banks and during the day when the water level is low you can go into the river and relax on the rocks. We could also spot many rare birds, lion-tailed macaque monkeys, and other flora and fauna The staff was very hospitable and kind. The rooms were amazing, and so was the view. The hotel is 2kms away from the waterfalls. So you'll need to take a cab to the waterfall and then hike for 700-800 meters down to the waterfalls. Totally worth it.
