Babel Belleville

Amazing stay at Babel. Visited 12th-15th September and stayed in the standard room. Room was small but expected that for Paris, en-suite was a really good size though! Pleasantly surprised there! The hotel is beautiful and every single detail has been thought about, even the lift was pretty! Every single detail reflected the style of the hotel down to the breakfast choices and the toiletries/fragrances throughout the hotel. The rooms were spotless, very clean, modern and beautiful. Breakfast was very good ! The pastries from an external bakery were delicious and I'll miss eating them every morning with the amazing French butter they had there. Lots of other choices including eggs and pastrami. Everything was fantastic quality. Staff were very friendly and smiley, very helpful! Couldn't fault anything about the hotel to be honest, and I would 100% stay again if I return to Paris, my boyfriend agreed. Its right round the corner from the metro as well. Lots of great bars and restaurants in the area too.

Great little hotel, very close to subway entrance. Beds were comfortable and room air conditioner worked great. People at the front desk were friendly and helpful. A Wells Fargo location is just down the street that will exchange US$ for Euro at a reasonable fee. Several Cafes are nearby.

This is a great hotel, especially for the price! We've stayed at various hotels in Paris, and I was happier here than at some of the "nicer" and more expensive ones. The rooms are small, but that's obvious from the pictures and not unusual here. It's right by three metro stops, there's a market twice a week right outside, and it's a thriving neighborhood. Make sure to grab some food and drinks; they were delicious!

The staff were excellent and the hotel is a few steps from a metro stop, so I had no trouble getting all over the city. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and clean. As an added bonus, there is a cute cafe across the street where I could sit and eat and drink wine and read in the sun!

This was my first experience in Paris and if i ever book another trip best believe ill be booking with them again. As stated before the staff were very hospitable and accomodating to this non french speaker. My host with the thick thighs also turned my eyes to french woman. Should i ever take a second wife im coming back to get her in paris. Where the woman are as beautiful as the city.

Very near the metro, convenient for the Gard Du Nord, this is a gem of a hotel. Rooms (at least some of them) are not big, but its quiet, beds are very comfy and the shower is fantastic. The rooms are great to stay in - have not slept that well in ages. No noise from the lively bar which turns into a great place for breakfast in the morning. Will become my essential stop in Paris (but it gets VERY booked up). The rooms we stayed in (bigger ones available) definitely better for singles with relatively little luggage as floor space not extensive.

We had a lovely meal here one evening and drinks in the buzzy bar on another night. The food is middle eastern and you pick 2-3 small plates each and share. There was no English menu, but the lady was very helpful with the translations! We enjoyed the food which was all very fresh and yummy. For larger groups, there are some bigger sharing plates which are ideal for 3-4 people On another evening, we came for drinks in the bar and enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine in a very convivial atmosphere

From the welcoming of the night receptionnist to the quality of the room and the bed, this place is perfect to stay in Paris and especially in Belleville. All the team is warmfull and the breakfast is delicious ; simple and different from a classic buffet. I recommend without any doubt

I became a regular at Babel's for my regular trips to Paris, because the crew is stellar: welcoming, kind and caring, the place is nicely decorated like a small cocoon where it's nice to go to after a tough day. And then the dinner, always generous but of high quality, very fine, and I love getting an urfa there. And the morning buffet is awesome, it's where I discovered that I love pastrami with scrambled eggs at breakfast, add to that a fresh detox juice, a coffee and a croissant from Saint, it's awesome!
