A charming hotel with lots of character, conveniently situated only a five minute walk to the Metro and with restaurants all around. The walls are covered in fabric and the furniture is antique, perfect for Paris. The dining room is charming with friendly staff and a good selection of fresh food for breakfast. We had a large junior suite overlooking the courtyard up two floors of winding stairs, with a large bathroom. No lift so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems, but there are other rooms with lift access. Our bathroom was large but unfortunately the shower head could not be moved and was fixed at mid chest level. Very inconvenient. The only mirror was the one over the basin. As I am near sighted I could not use this to put on make-up, or when putting in eye drops. I asked for a small free-standing mirror but they could not supply one. Large white fluffy towels and, although Paris was cold, the room was lovely and warm.
