Ibis Paris Tour Montparnasse 15EME

Arrived one night as I was getting the train early the next day from Montparnasse station which is a two minute walk away. Arrived at 11pm, fast check in and great service. Room was comfortable and clean and had everything I needed. Comfy bed. If you go out the hotel and turn right there’s a lovely cafe on the corner which serves beer and wine late if you get in late at night which is really good. I returned the next morning for a pastry and a coffee. I’d definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is in a great location with metro stops close by and a train station up the road. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and the area felt very safe. Staff were welcoming and friendly, we did ask for a room at the top at the back but we didn't get this 😞 Our room had everything we needed however there was a small step up to the bathroom which we had to lay a towel on as we all stubbed our toes on it. Towels were in short supply and there was mould in most corners of the room (which made the room smell). Now the beds....... Worse night sleep ever and I woke up and had to do stretches to ease my back pain! Our bed only had a mattress topper not a mattress and our daughters fold out bed had a huge bar across the middle which dug into her all night. Thankfully we only stayed one night otherwise I would have booked somewhere else for the rest of our stay.

Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a base for a short trip to Paris. It's a great location, close to the Metro but also within walking distance of the centre of the City. There are some lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. Our room was a good size for our party of three, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We had breakfast on one of the mornings, which was great - plenty of choice and importantly they were able to cater for my partner who is celiac. The whole team was friendly, welcoming and really helpful. We had a great stay and will definitely return.
