I meant to leave a good review, even though not everything was perfect. Our check-in was later than expected because our room wasn't ready. My booking confirmation email stated that check-in was at 14:00, but at reception, they said 15:00. This wasn’t ideal, as we had planned our whole day based on the email I received, which spoiled our first impression. The receptionist (I believe his name was Marcel) was polite and tried to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. When we checked out and paid the city tax, we received the invoice. I only read it on the train back home and was shocked to see that we had been marked as citizens of the russian federation in their system, despite being from Ukraine and having no connection to that country at all. I understand that, for some people, Eastern Europe might seem all the same, but given the current situation and the ongoing war, we found this deeply offensive and disrespectful. That being said, I must admit that the breakfast was really good, our room was quiet, and overall, the experience was positive. However, such carelessness is unacceptable.

We stayed for a family holiday during the Christmas season. It's a great hotel with fantastic service and in a good location. The common areas are renovated and modern but the rooms are a bit dated. However, our room was spacious, clean and everything worked.

Very good location to virtually everything in the city due to good metro/ railway connections, close to good restaurants and bars and especially Canal St. Martin, welcoming and very friendly (breakfast) service, quiet / comfortable rooms

The hotel and the breakfast was lovely however location was not very great for us and outside of the hotel was not very pleasant because of strikes and homeless crowds. But overall the hotel was pleasant.

Our family had an excellent time staying here. The whole team was professional and the service was excellent. We were well taken care of by the front of house and the morning breakfast crew. wW arrived for breakfast separately on our 2nd morning and the service crew recognised that and directed us to the table where our family was seated. It was much appreciated and commendable especially given how busy and large the restaurant is.

Staff spoke good English. Gave kids a small activity pack on check-in. Kids eat free at the breakfast buffet. Lounge area is comfortable and available to work in 24/7. Room has coffee machine and coffee for free. Location is on the same block as a metro station, which is a few stops away from the train station. The street was not very clean.

Terrible attitude, never expect such poor attitude in such a large and famous hotel, from reception to breakfast buffet, terrible!!!

Some hiccups during the check-in. Booked a standard room which we have requested for double bed but in the end we were told no double bed, so we requested specifically for it and a room with bathtub and we paid extra onsite for it. In the end we still didn’t get the room we want. Wasted a lot of time at the check-in. Aside from that, location was good. Just a lot of homeless folks around at night just be careful.

a perfect place for family trip. we arrived early but the staff was very friendly and let us check in. The hotel looks like a castle and etiquette. I would strongly suggest other people stay here as the first hotel. Besides, superb location. u can walk to most famous museum in around 30 minutes

The facility is old, breakfast is poor.

Friendly and helpful staff, hotel location is really great on Repiblique square with convenient subway hub 20 meters from the hotel gate.

Everything is nice. The hotel is on a very convenient place. The subway station entrance is downstairs. There are 6 subway lines with stations here. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel’s breakfast is very good.
