See title Unneccessary stress given we were coming over for my daughters best friend's memorial. Phoned on day of our arrival and thankfully the man who answered emailed the qr code. I had emailed a week ago to ask about how we would access our rooms and am upset that I had to end up phone calling to get the code on the day of our arrival.

Very central to metro, trams. Which is again very central to most main attractions. Clean and quiet suburb. Some of the rooms are much more spacious than others. 2 lovely bistros around the corner. Next to a lovely park for walking and running.

This small hotel in a quiet neighborhood of Paris was a pleasant surprise. Price was very reasonable, the room was clean and had a microwave, hot plate, and refrigerator along with pots pans and utensils for meal preparation, also had a decent bed and a nice window. The room is small, but that is expected in this price range, in Paris. Just note that the front desk is not open 24 hours per day, but they do email you codes to enable you to enter the property before and get into your room when the staff is not present. Highly Recommended!

The hotel is on a quiet side street, instructions to enter by QR code are sent by email if arrival is after 8pm. Small single room with en-suite bathroom was comfortable, clean, window opened, TV worked, tiny kitchenette with fridge. Good location in south Paris near to Cite Universitaire, next to the park, 15 minute tram ride to the Expo, nice brasserie round the corner serving decent menu until late.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet street close to the park. The tram and train stations are very close. The price point for the hotel is good to be in city of Paris. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast that can be ordered to the room is also very good. The room (#102) that we had was sub par compared to similar three stars hotels that we have visited. The issues that we find was that the refrigarator did not work properly, the pentry in the room was built in a way so that the toilet door could not be closed properly. During our vaccation the weather was hot with temperatures above 30 degC. The room does not have ac, however a fan can be borrowed from the lobby. The cleaning of the room is ok. The overall rating is 3 due to the location even if the room was sub par.

Hotel Montsouris has very helpful staff. My room was comfortable and clean and I kept the balcony door open the whole time, even at night (4th level) -- a street was relatively very calm. I felt very safe there outside and inside the hotel. Little kitchen helped me a lot by saving money -- I prepared some food at home (microwave, small stove), and kept food in the fridge. There is TV and WiFi in the rooms, even a tiny balcony. A little bit less comfortable was a small table, and only three sockets in the single room. I have no other critical notices. The hotel has a good connection with RER B and Tramway 3a, very cozy and safe streets in the neighborhood, there are Franprix and Lidl nearby, good shopping options at the easy accessible Porte Orleans or Denfert-Rochereau, and with the buses 21 and 67 you can go directly to the tourist places.

When I made the online booking, I received a message saying the payment had not gone through and that I should try again. I did this and received the same message. I then checked my emails and found two confirmations. I immediately cancelled one so it would not have been ‘live’ for more than a couple of minutes. However when I checked my credit card two payments had been taken from my account. I emailed the hotel but received no reply. When I stayed at the hotel I told them what had happened and was told I would receive a refund. To date, I have not received a refund. The hotel told me the matter was with their accounts department and then asked to see a copy of my credit card statement showing the two payments. I sent this on 17 June and have heard nothing from the hotel since. I chased up on 27 June, 30 June, 10 July and 18 July and the hotel staff have not even had the courtesy to reply to my emails. I believe they have treated me very badly and would not recommend having any dealings with this hotel. I am a pensioner and can’t easily afford to lose 170 euros. Shame on Hotel Montsouris. The ratings on service and value I have given are based on the fact that I paid twice for the hotel and that they do not answer my emails. The man in reception at the hotel was friendly and helpful. But the fact is that the hotel took my money twice for a booking mistake that was caused by a problem with their booking system and are now simply blanking me.

l'accueil est très bien, en revanche la poussière n'est pas faite et les oreillers présentaient des auréoles jaunes j'ai peiné a trouver un oreillers sans taches. Les draps étaient propres malgré tout.

l'hôtel est très agréable, très bien situé par rapport à l'aéoport d'Orly et très bonne communication vers le centre ville. Très appréciable la petite kitchennette.
