Excellent stay and a great hotel albeit as said in other reviews it does need smartening up. We stayed for a week on B&B basis. Breakfast very good and plenty of variety. Marina welcomes you most mornings, what an asset to the hotel she is. There were plenty of sunbeds although there’s still the brigade who get up at dawn to reserve. This isn’t permitted by the hotel but it still happens. The Beach Bar is lovely for a good quality lunch and the pricing is fair. Can thoroughly recommend the mozzarella tricoloure, delicious. Maia looked after us so well and was always so pleasant and welcoming. The Beach Bar is the location for evening entertainment which was pleasant as you relax during the evening. Our room, 523 on the 5th floor was serviced every day and to a high standard too. Beach towels: you’ll be given a voucher on check in, this you exchange for your towels on the first day. Go to the Spa on the Lower Ground floor. On your last day you’ll be given the card back and pass to Reception. This will avoid you being charged. We had a delicious meal (Italian) on our second night. €25 pp that included a glass of wine. Three courses and very tasty. This available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the time of this review. There’s a hotel shop on the Lower Ground Floor and it’s fairly priced. As said in other reviews , a good bus service into Paphos Town that runs every 15 minutes. The service finishes at about 00:30am. €2 each way that increases to €3 after 21:00. If you’re out in town after this time you’ll pay approximately €15 for the journey to the hotel from Paphos Town by taxi. Places to visit, Paphos Town and the quay. Very busy in the evening. Lots of eateries right by the waterfront. We ate in Kings one evening, okay but had better elsewhere. The UNESCO World Heritage site is amazing, opens at 08:30am. Highly recommend The Windmill restaurant, superb. Take note of the earthquake signage in the hotel. We had one on our last night (minor at 4.9 on the richter scale) but we definitely felt the earth movement for about 30 seconds. No incidents caused and harmless but just be wary. Cyprus is pretty renowned for it apparently There’s a nice onshore breeze in the afternoon, lovely and warm too. Beach is rocky so take your beach shoes if you have them. The UV was really high when we visited so you may wish to use your sun protection before you head out for some sun. There are a lot of stray cats on Cyprus so don’t be surprised if they approach you. You may well see the very small lizards basking in the sunshine. If you need to order a taxi just call Reception and they will sort it for you. We attend a wedding on the Sunday and taxi was punctual and as requested. Formative feedback: Whilst the hotel was good the grass area on the left desperately needs attention, so dry and stoney. Great hotel clean throughout, staff amazing especially Marina always smiling and very friendly and Anna who was fantastic and helpful whenever I saw her. Pool was easily assessable and cool to prefer a cold pool to cool off, and at 1.4 metres throughout was OK, but I prefer deeper for diving in which was not allowed. Sunbeds we're plenty, and the views out to sea were amazing. Hotel could do with a little more children's entertainment. Food was the best I have had in any hotel aboard and great choice. Drinks were tasteful, especially cocktails . Overall, it's a great location, staff amazing food and highly recommend and will definitely be returning

We were all inclusive, the food was fine, plenty of choice every time, there always seemed to be enough sun loungers to go round, and lots of different locations around the gardens, the pool and the beach Theres a nice little water play area for the kids. The staff are brilliant, Marina is amazing, so happy all the time, Sapana has a lovely smile. In the evening Stelios does an amazing job, but then again, they all do On the whole, we've had a great trip and would definitely come back to this Hotel.

Food is lovely and a great choice Rooms are a good size we had a sea view 2nd floor the cleaners were very thorough. Pool was like a hot bath Beach has alot of rocks so can be / and was tricky. There is a drop as you get into the sea on the small sandy opening between the rocks which is a struggle for anyone with knee or mobility issues and it does get very rough. The lagoon at the side is lovely but again you have to tackle the rocks to get in the water. The female staff are lovely, smily and helpful, especially anna, maia and manana. Valentin is a lovely engaging young man always ready to help and chat. The service in the restaurants is slow, unhelpful, miserable and at times non existent. The grounds are very pretty. No security at the hotel or none that wanted to show themselves at an incident on the gardens.

The majority of staff were not at all polite, quite rude. They have no organization. The rooms are dated, clean and the cleaning staff were great. Food was good. There is no hairdresser although they advertise, but overall we did not feel welcomed. Most other guest had the same comments. They need to train their staff

The hotel is in a great location. The staff majority seem so miserable never been to a hotel like it. They stuggle to smile sure they would rather not be here. The old bloke who works in the restaurant omg how miserable is he. The hallways to the room well the carpets are disgusting. Not one good morning in the restaurant. I will never book here again horrible staff. Rooms need updated as does the gym.

Having stayed here two years ago I thought that all would be well. The rooms we had were lovely and easily accessible without requests. (June 2022) I travelled with a group both times, but this specific booking was for myself and my nan who is in her 70's, prior to flying, I emailed the hotel directly to request a room that was mobility friendly, near my room and near a lift. The rooms we were given were rooms 115 and 119. The hallway leading to these rooms were vile, old carpet with year's worth of stains on them. I let my nan have the room with the double bed for ease however the shower was impossible for her to access alone, myself and my mum had to make sure we were with her each time she showered to ensure she could get in and out and not slip. Rubber mat was provided however the height of the bath was ridiculous and she wouldn't have been able to do it alone. My brother was in a newer room that had a walk in shower, so he requested the same for my nan but was told this wasn't possible as it was fully booked, he booked the same kind of room as I did on our booking. Mostly reception were unhelpful, to say the least. Saying that, the rooms were clean and tidy and the maids were great, with the signs you can put on the door for cleaning or not. The hotel is in a great location and the staff in the pool bar work incredibly hard, always with a smile on their face, except for one older guy who was there the last time we stayed and looked like he would rather be anywhere else but working! Maja (cocktail party), marianna and one other guy were super friendly and would go out of their way to help! Micheal on the bar inside was as great as he was last time 😊 Sunbed wars ensued during the week but we always managed to find a decent space and there was 7 of us. It's unfortunate that I would choose not to come here again due to the requests not being fulfilled on the rooms as this is a lovely hotel, it seems that singles are put wherever they may have room, regardless of need, at least update them a bit and replace the carpet!! Also go to the spa for an Indian massage, you won't regret it!
