Kefalos Damon Hotel Apartments

Staff very pleasant. Hotel and room very clean. Good selection at breakfast. Two pools and surrounding area very well kept. Music quiz on last night. Would definitely stay here again. Good location with good parking. Small shop next to hotel. Area around very good for choice of different restaurants.

My husband and I stayed at the Damon in May for 2 weeks all inclusive. We travelled with some friends/family members and met up with other friends along with making new friends whilst here. This was our fifth visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed to be back. The hotel is in a great location - close to bars/restaurants/shops and the new bus station is on the doorstep, with the local bus service being reliable and reasonably priced. The hotel is also within walking distance of the harbour and the coastal path is a really nice walk. We found the food seems to have improved since our last visit in 2023 and always found something to suit everyone. The drinks choice was as always very satisfactory :). I emailed the hotel before we arrived to request a specific room and I was very happy to be given that room along with wine and fruit on arrival. I was celebrating my birthday during my stay and was also given balloons and a handwritten birthday message which was a really nice touch. Like I said it was our fifth visit to this hotel and we return because along with the good location/food/drink etc we are always made to feel welcome by staff and other guests - it always feel like you are returning home. I feel a lot of this is down to Pino - he has been managing the entertainment here since our first visit in 2017 and always tries hard to get everyone involved in some way which helps the guests get to know each other and helps create the friendly atmosphere. Overall we had a fab holiday and look forward to returning soon.

Loved this hotel ,all staff are really helpful & friendly ,food in mama mia restaurant brilliant ,great drink selection on the all-inclusive cocktails lovely .very clean friendly hotel in a great location .booked to go back in September I was that impressed 👏

My stay was for an all inclusive week and being a seasoned traveller, I have to say the location was really good and the apartments were lovely. Chambermaid service daily, the beds were very comfy, receptionists were really helpful with a smile, the food brilliant, the waiters/ waitresses were always polite, smiling and couldn't do enough for you. I'm definitely going back.

My first time in Paphos and me and my mate had a brilliant time. Pools were good size, sunbeds easy to get and plenty of them. Hotel very clean and staff are great. Special mention to John, the young lad at the bar and the dinner staff in particular. Very polite and friendly. Food was great; breakfast was spot on and better then many 4 star+ hotels I’ve been too. Lunch was also decent with a good variety (sandwiches, pasta etc). Dinner was different every evening (Friday BBQ, Sunday Roast etc). Cocktails and drinks at the bar were also nice with a good variety, milkshakes and iced coffee was a nice suprise. Entertainment was really fun, Pino is a real credit to the hotel and a very funny man. Location is perfect, slap bang in the middle of the harbour, old town and several beaches (Venus, Lighthouse beach). Coral bay only a 20 min bus drive away (€6.20 return). Massive shopping mall down the shop, the Jumbo store is a gem for family’s with young kids (toy section) Hotel shop really good and reasonably priced. Lady who runs it is lovely. Really hard to fault our experience at this hotel, only improvement I can think of is to have sandwiches and cold snacks in a fridge overnight. 4.5 Stars. I keep saying it’s annoying that tripadvisor doesn’t allow a scaled score. This isn’t a 5 star review, but it’s too nice a place to give it 4 stars I feel. I’m on my last day here, so this is a review with everything fresh in mind: Rooms: the rooms are ok. They’re kept really clean and they are a good size. My kids had the twin beds so I needed up on the sofa bed. Not the comfiest sadly, but the pillows are awesome. Food: The food is ok. Read reviews saying it’s amazing, it’s not. It’s good, and it’s consistently good but it is a bit samey. 1 red meat, 1 chicken and 1 fish dish eat sitting, with sides and salads. My son and I enjoyed most things, my daughter leans towards a vegetarian diet and the choice for her (from a hot/protein perspective) wasn’t great. The good thing is you won’t go hungry and you will always find something tasty. Downsides i would say are desserts. If you like a dessert (I don’t much) you’ll be disappointed by the choice and quality I suspect Staff: the highlight of the hotel. Too many quality people to name individually. Every person here is top drawer, they’re friendly, attentive and welcoming. I have to say I found that to be true of the vast majority of guests too, there’s a real community feel here. Value: I would say for a 3* hotel this is exceptional value for money. If you’re expecting 4/5* luxury, you won’t find it here. If you want a hotel that is clean, well run, with nice pools etc, you’ll be fine. Would we return…. Yes I think we would!
