My experience at Poed Residences was a mixed bag. Initially, the accommodation seemed promising, and we enjoyed our first few days there. However, upon arrival, we were surprised to find that we had to make our own beds with limited bed linen. Additionally, the kitchen was not adequately equipped, although we managed. No wifi inside the apartment but again, we managed. Things took a turn for the worse when we were informed on Sunday morning that the restaurant would be closed during the week, contrary to what we were initially told. This left us feeling unsettled, especially since I was traveling alone with my son and didn't feel very safe with limited facilities and no English-speaking staff around. After reaching out to Poed Residences via ***********, I was told by the manager that the restaurant would be open all day, which turned out to be untrue. Feeling misled, I decided to check out four days early and find alternative accommodation for the remainder of our holiday. Upon requesting a refund for the unused days, the manager accused me of threatening him, which was not the case at all. I simply wanted fair compensation for the inconvenience caused by the miscommunication and lack of amenities. I wrote to him on Tuesday, and when I still had no response on Friday, I got in touch again asking for a solution before leaving any feedback, as we could have worked something out. This was not a threat; it was simply a paying customer seeking a reply and potentially a solution, as there’s nothing *********** could do. Overall, while Poed Residences has potential, the inconsistent information and unprofessional response from management left much to be desired.
