Blue Planet Panglao

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. More impressed with this resort than I've been with a hotel in years, and I travel a lot. Brand new, incredibly spacious rooms, each with its own theme. I had the "Germany" room that even had Volkswagen branded coffee cups. Beautiful grounds, excellent service, and the food was wonderful. Worth 2-3x the price I paid. Because it's so small, everyone says hello to one another, and it's almost like staying with friends. The highlight of my 2 months travelling in the Philippines. As you can see from my history, this is not a fake review.

When I asked them to assist me with booking my ferry ticket they refused to because they can only book it their way and not the way I wanted....... So clearly they didn't want to help me without receiving their commission.... Same thing for motorbike and same thing they did for massage. I even heard the owner discussing it with the massage lady and his friends who were over.... Guess they didn't know I speak French and understood them. Money focus and not guest satisfaction focus... A pity.... Other than that it's really good.

We really love this place, it was so quite and clean and just 10 rooms. The people are very nice and very helpful. The rooms were so clean and spacious! Everyday they clean your room and give you 2 bottles of water. Actually the food is good and not expensive! Very nice swimmingpool!

My son is really enjoying everything with Blue Planet. Nice breakfast with sweet service. We had a one day tour with early leaving, and they prepared for us sandwichs with wrappers and some banana. We did not respect this since that time was not under their operation hours. All the staff are friendly and helpful. There are more about to say, but it is better to be experienced by your own. Highly recommend to who is looking for a convenient, valuable, and peaceful place.

Top quality accommodation with friendly and personable service from both the owner and staff. What impressed me most is the close attention to detail - everything here is perfect. Inclusive Breakfast is high quality with a good choice - they even noticed my coffee addiction - I had 3 cups of coffee on my first day and offered me a larger mug on my second day. Lots of good restaurants nearby however on the last night we ate in the hotel restaurant and the food quality was excellent here too. We arrived back 6pm hot and tired - ordered in advance for an hour later which was perfect time for us to have a relaxing swim in the cool water of the pool, followed by a hot shower and change of clothe- To find our food delivered to our table promptly at 7pm Dont be put off by this property’s proximity to the airport - it was extremely quiet and peaceful - a perfect refuge after the hustle and bustle of Alona Beach which is only a short 200 php taxi ride away. Its also close to South Palms resort which I would highly recommend for a day visit. They have daily access packages from around 1200 php which includes a 5 course meal plus activities such as spa / massage / kayaking. Easily affordable given the money you will be saving by staying at Blue Planet ;-) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again next time we return to Bohol.

If it's the former, then please allow me to entice you in spending your quality time relaxing, unwinding and unpacking from the frenetic pace of life we all seem to be living! To be honest, I chose this place not having any knowledge of Panglao, Bohol or anything nearby. And I am SO GLAD I did... The last 2 years of Covid, super high stress at work, and missing my love because of no travelling for two years just created this magical experience of unwinding around a very clean, friendly and peaceful resort that is off the beaten path. I can feel the stress fall off. If you want action it is only a few minutes down the road in Alona Beach where all the crowds and tourists are, but here it is only peaceful and relaxing. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the Chef was fantastic, the rooms were clean, cold and really comfortable, and the pool was literally 4 steps from the front door of our room. The owner and manager always seemed to be available for any questions. In summary, I and my fiance had a perfect time here. I highly recommend staying here... even if you have the urge to party all night, maybe you land here for a day or two just to recover before heading back to the busy world we all live in. Salamat to the staff and owners of Blue Planet! I can't thank you enough!
