It was an amazing experience, great service and the cocktails at the bar are luscious!!

Great location, right across from the park, close enough to the restaurants. A small room, plain and simple, price is excellent. We did not expect the noise to come from upstairs restaurant (lounge/nightclub), not ideal for light sleepers.

Great location, clean rooms, very rerasonable prices. I want to especially recognize Stefanie. This lady went above and beyond in every way to help our group have an amazing stay in Panama City!!!! I would recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Panama City. Perfect location and we always felt very safe.

I read the reviews about noise and thought people were probably exaggerating. Wrong. Nothing will prepare you for how loud the music is until at least 2am. Add to that the DJ screaming his head off down the mic. It was like trying to sleep in the middle of a night club. If you are joining the party then you will be fine but if you want sleep then this is definitely not the place for you. The rooms are fine - our toilet didn’t flush properly and the batteries in the air con were literally disintegrating so we couldn’t use the remote to adjust it. I would NEVER stay here again.

Don't stay here unless you want to be in a party atmosphere with music blasting all night. Hotels in Panama City are relatively inexpensive and you can stay in a name-brand hotel that is quiet and in a cleaner neighborhood for only a few Balboas or Dollars more than this place. The rooms in Hotel Casa Panama are quaint and built into the stone but it's far too noisy for me, and there's no warning anywhere on the website that they have a nightclub on the 3rd floor roof that blasts music until 2am+.

There are very few positives that come to mind. The location is great, good water pressure in the shower, a nice pool on the roof and the a/c worked well. The negatives far outweigh the positives. Balcony doors are not secure at all, and every outside sound comes into the “cave. The door to the room was very difficult to close and lock from either side. ” The doors provided no security. The room was dark, with concrete floors and walls, perhaps comparable to a communist prison cell. There’s no storage-no dressers, no flat surfaces with the exception of a small table, no clothes hooks, a one foot curtain rod that was impacted by the mini fridge directly beneath it and one very small nightstand; we had to live out of our suitcases, which had to be kept on the floor. And don’t look under the beds! It’s not clean, and some things are filthy, including a dusty, sticky lampshade. The bathroom sink was a small bar sink, and the toilet seat had cigarette burns on it. This hotel needs serious updating, cleaning and nicer decor. I do not recommend this hotel.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel Casa Panama for 3 nights and unfortunately, our experience was not a positive one. While we had picked this hotel because it was right at the entrance to Casco Viejo and we thought we would be closer to the new city as well and centrally located in Casco Viejo , but wish we would had pay more attention to the bad reviews, they are all very real and more. The Hotel is located in a not so nice area, the adjacent streets are rough, dirty and they do not look safe to walk .The construction going on next door makes the area even worst. Checking in was no problem. The staff is not the friendliest (except for Natalie that tried her best to help us deal with the issues) the rest of the staff seem bothered every time you ask a question. I understand the decorator went for a concrete effect finish, but please this is not an effect some parts of the room look disgusting. We paid for a superior room with balcony. The room was extremely small and dark. The curtains were very dirty like they had never been washed, the doors to the balcony another disappointment, dirty and hard to open and close. Outside the balcony the view was not what is picture in the website. Yes, the view includes some of the pictures but mostly you get to see very bad street and filth. The sheets in the bed were old and the cover was not enough for two people Furthermore, the noise level in the hotel was excessive. There is a restaurant in the first floor and a club/bar in the third floor the music lasted until 3 or 4 am every night and to make matters worse the street in front of the hotel is an entrance to Casco Viejo and it is nonstop traffic and you can hear the police, the music from the cars and the car horns all night long. By six in the morning when everything was calming down then the construction crew arrives and you start to listen to their noises. sleep for This made it difficult for us to sleep or relax in our room No water at times in the afternoon. We should have changed hotels but that meant we would probably lose a day of tours and we were only there 4 days and we decided to make the best of the moment.

We stay here for four nights recommended to us by a friend, total letdown. There’s a bar on the roof top of the hotel that blast music until 2 AM every morning. Can’t get any sleep here. The traffic is horrible right in front of your room all day and all night horns blowing off. The management staff is not the friendliest, I asked for a clean towel they said one towel per person per day. Would not recommend staying here for any price it’s like ghetto all around. And their king beds are two small twin beds. They push together and they move apart in the middle of the night not a good place to stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night. Really quirky hotel, lots of exposed bricks and plants. Great location in Casa Vieijo. Rooftop bar and small pool was nice. Only thing was, it has the rooftop bar which was open late, music etc, so it was a bit noisy until the early hours. I slept through it but my boyfriend didn’t. And the bathroom was only separated with a thin, see-through black curtain! We didn’t massively mind but others might! Otherwise, lovely hotel.
