Surya Kiran Heritage Hotel

The Heritage side of the hotel really lived up to expectation, however that is the best I can say about this hotel. On opening the balcony doors of our superior room number 103, I found it was directly next to the restaurant. Following early cocktails and dinner( which was fine), due to travelling we were tired and decided to relax and read in our room. There was live music on in the restaurant and it was so loud, we couldn't concentrate on reading. We asked for the music to be turned down 3 times, but to no avail. Luckily it stopped around 10.30, but the noise from the restaurant and kids running around the hotel continued until well after midnight. I feel that we should have been alerted to the proximity of the restaurant and also that there was to be music. Next morning we had breakfast. What a shambles. It was awful. We only got some of what we ordered, and the poached eggs were either rock hard or uncooked. We were due to stay two nights but we cancelled the second night. What a disappointment.

100 yr old - heritage stay! good pleasant stay. They have an amazing space and a great heritage vibe. Great location. Peacefully situated near the coastal lane, but hidden by trees, the location is so ideal to enjoy a party vibe in the nearby casinos or a peaceful vibe in the pathway adjacent to the river. The only defect was, the bathroom was slightly smelly due to some reasons, which can be taken care of in future.

This heritage property has an excellent location, excellent ambiance & very good food & service. We room size furniture, and maintenance all were excellent. They have some issues during heavy downpour but the property is highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Campal area of Panjim.

I had a pleasant stay at Surya Kiran. I would stay there again. My experience was mostly positive. A few places where there is room for improvement - - upgrade bathroom fixtures that are leaky - fix broken amenities like ironing boards and in room kettles - minor cockroach problem that should be dealt with - some food items listed on the menu were not available. That said, the staff did whatever they could to make my trip comfortable. I would stay there again. Ps - the park across the road next to the promenade is WONDERFUL.

The staff, Suresh Babu was a great help for us. He cared us and adviced us. The room was big and clean as they appeaRed in the page The patio restaurant is a bonus ..with all plants and the food was very good and a rewarding at night The pool though small accomplish its objetive, refreshing and pleasant. My stay at hotel was awesome. Room were neat and clean. It is small but cute hotel. Recommended for everyone. We didn't any pics
