Fergus Club Palmanova Park

This hotel is a great family hotel. The rooms are clean and a good size. The food is well cooked and a good variety, my daughter always found something to eat, the Nutella dispenser was a big hit for her. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The pools are great although very cold at this time of year. My only other concern at this time of year is that the evening entertainment is outside and although we brought jackets it still was quite cold, could do with some sort of outdoor heaters. We would definitely visit again.

We arrived for a week with 2 young children. Upon arrival the hotel was clean, modern and very welcoming. We were greeted immediately with a smile and we waited to check in. The process was smooth and quick. We had the Magnus room, so it came with a whirlpool. The room was clean and had plenty for us to use, there was a coffee machine, microwave ans kettle which was handy! The whirlpool was great and we used it every day! The cleaners were fab and would clean every day to a high standard and were very friendly. The buffet was fabulous, there was always plenty of choices and it was mixed up daily too. There was plenty for the children to pick to eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was always cooked perfectly and was super tasty! They also had a snack bar which served some pastries, burger, chips, hot dogs, pastas and fruit, sometimes puddings too. Again the chefs were all friendly and the food was always replenished quickly and cooked perfectly. There were two pools, one which was perfect for the kids as they had a huge balloon shooting water out the top, the kids loved climbing this and jumping down! The other side of the pool there were 4 slides, there were always life guards and they were very observant and polite. The second pool was bigger and deeper, but it did have a shallower side for children too protected by a barrier. Unfortunately at this time of the year the water was freezing, our youngest has Raynaurds so unfortunately didn't go in the pools, but the eldest was having a blast in both pools. We were grateful for the whirlpool for the little one to play in. The entertainment people were fabulous and really made the holiday great. They love their job and it really shows in the efforts they put in every day during the daily games, kids club and the evening entertainment. We didn't stay for the evening entertainment but we did enjoy the kids mini disco every evening! Each member of staff from the reception, cleaners, chefs, entertainers, managers absolutely everyone gave the kids so much attention and always greeted us with a smile. We really have enjoyed this holiday and the staff made the kids so happy which made us happy! We really will hope to come back one summer when the water is warmer! A beautiful hotel, well-maintained. We were looked after so well from arrival to departure. It was like being at home from home. The staff are so kind, considerate, and professional. The food is excellent, it was so fresh and well presented. The dining area was always very clean and organised. The pools and the sunbeds were of a very high standard, very clean. The entertainment staff are so beautiful, kind, and professional, and they make everyone feel part of the hotel's family, from the youngest to the eldest. We all had an amazing holiday. You do not need to leave the hotel as so much was on offer. However, if you needed a stroll the stunning beach is just a short stroll away. Would recommend a visit to this hotel we will definitely be returning soon.

Clean hotel with lovely quality food with a great choice and a different menu each meal time. You could help yourself to beer, wine and soft drinks and therefore never a long queue at the bar for spirits, cocktails or slush for the children. We found the place to be very well ran with efficient, friendly staff. We would certainly return.

Holiday stared of well from the Tuesday to Friday. Mixed nationalities French, Polish etc no problems. Then came the most rowdy bunch of Easter holiday makers. They were running riot. In the evening entertainment area children running wild whist irresponsible parents sat drinking. The one bar is used throughout the day and evening through the day it can be like and ice rink due to wet feet from the pool area. I seen this a few times and they were never challenged by bar staff. The rooms are spacious but no air conditioning in April. Shower screen and toilet roll holder hanging of these should have been checked as the hotel only opened on the 4th of April. The staff in the bars and restaurant work extremely hard but always look under pressure. The food was nice but could have been warmer. The pool area my daughter enjoyed the slides and bouncing inflatable. Would we return no.

We came in Easter Holidays and it was pretty rammed and chaotic. The staff though are absolutely lovely. Did everything possible to ensure our stay was comfortable. Supplied a wet chair for an accessible bathroom on request, needed for one of our group and changed our room when there was an error. The buffet is okay, there is plenty of standard fodder (chips, pizza and pasta) which is okay for the small ones. And always a good selection for grownups. It is all a bit mad and self-service, but the staff are great. There's a snack bar (self-service again), where you can get all the drinks you like. Some stuff is chargeable. A few people mentioned the extra bar, McKevitt's. You have to pay for drinks here, but reception staff are CRYSTAL clear about this. Not expensive either way. Rooms are spacious and clean. No frills though. Gym okay too, small, no frills. But enough for a workout. It is loud in the evenings, until about 11/12, the shows are centre stage in the middle of the complex, and all the rooms surround it. So if you're an early sleeper, or have little ones, fair warning! But overall, it's nice. It was one of the cheapest deals we found, only one with all inclusive at that price, so you get what you pay for.
