Thompson Palm Springs by Hyatt

Another amazing experience at The Thompson PS. Location is ideal to move around the area, everything is within reach. Employees are friendly and caring, and restaurant is wonderful, the vibes are like no other place in PS. Looking forward for my next visit and hopefully able to book a room at The Thompson, only place I want to stay.

This property is totally phenomenal in every way… Glorious views, pristine rooms, and amazing places to drink and eat. The staff here is more than accommodating… You really feel like royalty, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Special shout out to Isaac Esparza, who works at the concierge.

There for conference. The bed was super comfortable. Excellent hotel and room! Rain shower was wonderful. Definitely has a spa feeling! The staff was nice and helpful, and I really appreciated everyone's expertise. Not clear where the ice was and some other things, but no biggie.

Courtyard rooms have vanity stool, no chairs other than on deck. Eating room service requires standing up. Why meals are not brought on a cart makes no sense, No table or desk. Rooms are small. View may have some mountains but mostly rooftops. HVAC equipment is never serene . TV Streaming Services did not work. Overpriced for what it is. And other charges, such as resort charge, are excessive.

Good and luxury hotel with great experience. New design and special experience in the courtyard suite. Food and pool are also great and highly recommend to take lunch and dinner in the hotel. Moreover, don't forget to visit the city and mountain

I had a great experience at Thompson Palm Springs. The meeting space for CalSAE Insights worked out well for us as course attendees. My room was wonderful, too--loved the large bathrooms and spacious patios with comfy seating. My daughter and family stayed in the room next door, and appreciated the in-room refrigerator and pack-and-play crib, for her 1 year old's needs. We had a nice fire pit just outside our rooms, where we gathered Fri. and Sat. evenings after dinner. My family made great use of the refilliable water bottles and convenient refilling stations, as well as the pre-packaged ice in the little freezers. I love the location of this property in downtown Palm Springs, which made it easy to walk to various restaurants and shops. We also made use of the pool and hot tub area both Sat. and Sun., which was great. Loved that the water was heated in the pool, and you can't beat that view of the mountains in the background. We walked through the bar many times, but we didn't actually stop in at any point. Meanwhile, valet parking was so easy and convenient, as was the "off the road" reception area and turnaround. It was great having this very contemporary place to stay while visiting a throw-back area like Palm Springs--usually a time warp experience.
