Park Hotel Cala di Lepre & Spa

First time in Sardinia and already looking to come back. Staff excellent, rooms great and food hit the spot. Would highly recommend!

Our first visit to Sardinia and we chose Cala Di Lepre, we stayed half board breakfast & dinner. It is bigger than we realised so initially we were unsure! But slowly we began to appreciate the service and staff. We had a 2 bed villa at the top of the resort which was newly refurbished to a high standard with plenty of space for us and our 2 teenage girls. Rooms are fitted to a very high standard and all had AC. The walk to the pool is quite long but usually a buggy to scoop you up and drop off! Always space at the pool but being a family hotel can be busy. Great bar to cool off at adjacent with good lunch snacks and reasonable pricing. Evening dinner is a busy affair but amazing seafood and always something good on the grill which changes each evening! I read someone complained about food not being hot but we didn’t experience this. Gian Piero was a delight each evening ensuring my fussy daughter had chips! These small things do make a difference to families😀

Just back from a week here, hard to fault, the food is really rather good, not brilliant for a vegetarian but as long as you like cheese and pasta you will be fine. Family enjoyed the lobster, prawns and steaks though! It's a very good 4 star hotel and we would definitely think about returning. Sardinia is incredible and I have very fond memories of a wonderful holiday

What a great hotel! Everyone was amazing, had a fantastic trainer Luca and tennis trainer Francesco for a week. Highly recommended!

The positive- location, surrounded by nature, nice views, good breakfast The downside - we checked in late at night after a long day of travel during a heat wave to find out that our air-conditioner was not working at all in our room. Apparently the hotel was fully booked out and the management could not change our room that day so we had to spend our first night unable to sleep in stifling heat. To their credit they did move us the next day - however this time the hot water was not functioning properly in our room. When I complained the first time, I was told that there was no issue and that they had checked it out already. When I complained a second time the next day they finally sent an engineer who fix the problem. So in total it took three days for air-conditioner and hot water to work properly for what one would expect in a hotel of four stars. Maybe this was all just bad luck but to us it seemed that there were maintenance issues that should have been flagged and fixed prior to a guest arriving to the room. Overall, this is a very large hotel with very little personal touch. No compensation was offered for our inconvenience and we never heard from management again after our complaint.

We stayed at the top of the resort for five nights of sunshine to celebrate the end of the school year in England, and we all had a lovely time. The situation of the resort facing south and overlooking a small bay is particularly lovely, and the rooms have been sensitively built into the hillside amongst a great variety of trees and planting which is carefully maintained. The resort felt so calm throughout our stay, and this is mirrored in Alex and his wonderful reception team who welcomed us on arrival and helped us throughout our stay with wise suggestions of places to visit, including a short walk to see the bear. Dear Alex, Rosario, Laura and the reception staff team are so lovely, and I’m only sorry we didn’t need to see them more often as everything was fine. The exception to the calm of the resort is the very well-staffed children’s club which always looked really well-structured and purposeful. Frederica and Alberto were so kind in welcoming us all, and we apologise for not taking advantage of the amazing all-day provision for children including at mealtimes. Most guests seem to favour going to the beach or on excursions, so we had the small swimming pool by our house almost to ourselves throughout the day. It is the perfect size and hidden away above the main residences. The Spa is exceptional too and even more hidden away if one wants to truly escape and relax. I would like to thank all the golf buggy drivers who work tirelessly ferrying people around the resort throughout the day and evening. Distances around the resort are not too far, however if there is such a good service as this, it is tempting to use it in the heat of the day. It’s funny seeing groups of guests all returning from the beach at the same time expecting a fleet of vehicles to be ready for them, however in avoiding peak times we never had to wait long. This is our second Delphina experience after Le Dune (Le Sabine) two years ago, and the Group certainly do things so well, particularly food. We booked full board and there was something to savour at every meal we ate in the Archipelago restaurant, and by the main pool in the evening. We were always welcomed with warmth and kindness by Carlotta, Rosangela D’, Thiam and others, and there is a calm efficiency to the service. It would take me too long to mention every dish we liked in the there is such a fine range of choices at the brunch and dinner buffets. The people working in the kitchen here understand the importance of good ingredients and clearly pride themselves on producing a wonderful variety of Sardinian and Italian dishes for all tastes. The freshly cooked pasta dishes were clearly made with love with recipes worth trying to remember, there was always something new worth trying from the antipasti, the selection of cheeses in the evening including some made on site were very impressive, and the pastry and dessert chefs are exceptional in their understanding of flavour profiles. We managed a few activities suc
