However, my recent stay in Palakkad was extremely disappointing. I booked a room and was charged an additional ₹450 at the hotel. The room was in terrible condition. There was no drinking water provided, only an empty jug. The washroom was not clean, and the hygiene level was unacceptable. The room itself felt unmaintained and neglected. I expected better based on my past experiences

Small and not clean bathroom, it is very vivid that they try to cut cost in all materials, not even provide a single bottle water. No telephone facilities etc

Very helpful courteous staff, understand the need and situation of the customer and take flexible decisions so that customer could be comfortable, instead of enforcing strict rules generally laid-down by the industry
