This was one of the nicest hotels i have ever stayed in. The attention to detail in the beautiful was fantastic with the inclusion of a coffee machine and an Alexa. The staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Added to that, the food wad absolutely top notch and service was of a very high quality. Will definitely be returning soon

Always stay here. The very best service, food and people. I always recommend this hotel and always want to come back would highly recommend. The rooms, the food are great. Perfect for a trip around Pendle hill and the surrounding areas. Parking is available if you get there early enough- otherwise street parking is fine.

We got married at The Lawrence on Saturday. It was the most perfect day and that was down to the meticulous care and attention given by the whole team. Olivia was an amazing wedding coordinator and ensured everything went to time without a hitch. The whole venue looked beautiful. Our guests were all commenting on the lovely building and decor, the intimate setting, and of course, the amazing food. From canapés, to wedding breakfast, evening Buffet and breakfast the next morning everything was delicious and served with the utmost care and by friendliest team of hospitality staff. Honestly those young people were amazing. I cannot recommend nor thank Michael and his team and The Lawrence enough. Memories will last us a lifetime.

I had a lovely stay at the Lawrence, beautiful old grade 2 listed building in a beautiful town. Every staff member I spoke to was friendly and helpful, my snug room was plenty spacious for me and would have easily been perfect for 2 people, The ensuite was lovely with a great shower. Bed was comfy with great pillows and all the small touches were great such as a jar of sweets and a jar of flapjack, kettle, Nespresso machine and bottle of water. My room had an iron and board, hairdryer, fan and plenty of closet space. I had a full English breakfast that was cooked amazingly, the food tasted so fresh and the dining room was beautiful. I honestly have no complaints at all of my stay. My daughter lives in the town and I’d booked the room as a treat to give me my own space while I visited. I will be staying again!

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff, tastefully decorated rooms. We were lucky enough to be up-graded and given a large bedroom with small seating area. Small touches like small jar of sweets and home baked flapjack bites in the room. Outdoor terrace to relax on with a drink and small kitchenette for patrons to use if needed. Cooked breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Stopped over here on our way to Scotland and would highly recommend.

My view is that this small hotel punches way above its weight. The young staff was helpful, friendly and very efficient. The decor was lovely and very tasteful. The food (we had breakfast and dinner) was wonderful. We had two rooms and both were beautiful. I find it hard to make any criticism except the car park is very small and “tight” and in common with most hotels the breakfast coffee did not reach the standard of the food.

Cannot fault the staff, the girl was lovely. However we booked for 1.15 and didn't go to table until nearly 1.45. We had a 'nibble' and a starter. These were both fine. Partner ordered the burger and that was fine. However I had the cheese and onion pie with mash and beans. The pie felt like it had been cooked/warmed up a few times. Needed an axe to cut through the crust

We had our wedding at The Lawrence in Padiham, and it was absolutely perfect. The venue’s rustic charm created such a warm, relaxed atmosphere, and the afternoon tea was delicious and beautifully presented. Special thanks to Olivia, our amazing coordinator, who made everything effortless and personal—even down to making sure my plate didn’t have cucumber (which I can’t stand!). Every detail was taken care of, and we truly had the best day of our lives

Very quirky, friendly and comfortable boutique hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful, lovely breakfast choices, very comfortable room, hot shower, fluffy cotton towels and lots of little extra's including a little guest kitchen with addition tea, coffee, fresh milk and an ice maker - such a brilliant idea. Definitely would recommend.
