A small hotel with a staff that made my stay really pleasant. It felt like staff was part of a big family. And the restaurant, I had to eat dinner there twice during my stay, really good food, can recommend it strongly. Big plus that I could borrow bikes for free to take myself around the city.

This place has been around in one form or another for many years, and the experience of the staff shines through. A welcoming afternoon tea and a sumtuous breakfast were just two of the standouts. The beds were excellent and the facilities all in good working order. Would happily stay there again if visiting the region.

This is amazing place in heart of Oulu. Friendliest staff ever with great breakfast. Rooms are giving you a lot of good energy so you can survive your rocky work weeks ;) Afternoon tea/coffee moments get you good look in your future retirement days. This is where I wanna get old. Surrounded by this lovely people..

Enjoyed the visit overall. Hotel is used for many group meetings and family celebrations & happenings which makes the reception very crowdy and the place is noisy. The good things; Tea at 5pm was really nice, friendly service, silent room, good food. Some things with the room could be fixed, it lacked room info (house rules, schedules, wifi info etc) and the TV, albeit advertised as LED (=modern) showed SD quality transmission without ability to cast media to it.

Small hotel with a wery warm and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds. Rooms are quite small, but comfortable. Tea time at 5 PM ( included in price) is nice. Walking distance from city center. We enjoyed this hotel and will stay here again

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, great breakfast and good flexibility. Can recommend heartily beds were comfy, Even possibility for late check-out was given. Sadly we couldnt participate Tea from 5 to 6pm, but itse Nice and quirky addition.

Amazing atmosphere, the old house melted my heart. Room was small but comfy and tidy. Service were good. Tea time at 5pm were little something extra and kind of spot on. Location was nice, walking distance from citycentre. I really enjoyed my visit. If you looking something little different this is for you. Breakfast was great.

Extremely cozy small hotel with great combination of building’s history and modern rooms. Great afternoon tea (included in price) and excellent bed. Very friendly staff and nice overall atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night with my spouse during Easter 2024, en route from Tampere to Kuusamo. We had a very good stay, with nothing to complain really. The afternoon tea, with high quality beverages and small bites to eat, was a really nice addition. Breakfast was very good as well, although hot dishes are not as plenty as in bigger hotels. Rooms are not very soundproof, but that didn't disturb us.
