Dunia Hôtel Ouagadougou Loumbila

The rooms were clean and well maintained. The water pressure in the shower is always very low, but there is sufficient hot water. I am staying at the hotel due to business. My biggest complaint is the lack of quality food on the menu. The chef has no clue how to properly cook meat. Accordingly, it is nearly always overcooked, tough, and not worth what I was charged. I ordered a well done hamburger tonight for dinner. After 1 hour my hamburger arrived and the outside was overcooked while the inside meat was very mushy and did not appear to be cooked all the way through. My meal the night before was so overcooked that I could not eat it. It was expensive too, which really upset me. The grilled chicken for Sunday lunch was also cooked to death. I couldn't eat it. Most of the staff cannot speak English. Security at the hotel is poor and most of the security guards are often seen sleeping rather that keeping watch over the flock. Being hungry makes me cranky. I have two weeks and counting before I head off to another destination.
