Masseria Grieco

From the landscape, to the stone buildings, to the beautiful pool, this property was stunning! It was a perfect location to explore the many towns of Puglia. Our kids enjoyed all the animals around the property and we couldn’t get over how amazing the daily breakfast was. We’ll definitely be visiting again on our next trip to Italy!

We had the most beautiful stay at Masseria Greico and chose this hotel as a destination to explore Puglia. The room was lovely and the staff exceptionally attentive and informative re towns we planned to visit. Very helpful and booked restaurants close by. However, we felt the hotel struggles to identify if they are a hotel or wedding venue. There were no coffee/tea making facilities in our room which was very disappointing. We had to order any hot drinks via room service at €10 and was time limited. There was no bar/lounge to relax in after a day out, so you have to go straight back to your room. Nevertheless, these are small but important things to consider during out of season bookings. The venue and surrounding area is absolutely stunning, and drive to the property amazing!! Pool area wonderful and staff fantastic!! Hotel food was just ok but not exceptional! Think more traditional cuisine preferable, but that’s just our point of view. Moving forwards, please invest in coffee/tea making facilities in all bedrooms. Also, please adjust evening meal menu and make available a lounge area where customers can relax and have a drink after a long day before heading to bed.

We had exclusive use of the Masseria Grieco for three days for a wedding . The Masseria grounds are beautifully kept and with very pretty planting . The welcome dinner on the first night was held near the pool area but under the trees and we were all seated on lovely white stone table and chairs ,with lovely lighting it made for a very magical evening - the buffet food was absolutely delicious ! The wedding ceremony was in the very pretty grounds and the wedding dinner was in the beautiful courtyard .We spent the night dancing in the lovely stone circle dance floor in the grassed area near the courtyard . The bride had organised lovely white sofas and stunning chandelier lights so it all looked stunning . During the pool party the next day we had delicious pizzas for lunch and danced the afternoon away . Breakfast each morning was delicious !!!! The rooms were fabulous ,with everything we needed and all the staff were very friendly ,helpful and hard working .All the food prepared by the Masseria was excellent and plentiful . A very magical three days ,so a huge thank you to all the Masseria staff and also out lovely new daughter in law who organised all the event ! We were however very lucky to have had good weather - as all wedding celebrations were outside .
