Palazzo Stunis - Dimora di Charme

We stayed only 1 night in this beautifully restored home, and wish we could have stayed all week. Matteo is an excellent host. The room was charming and very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. We highly recommend Palazzo Stunis, our stay there kicked off what looks to be a spectacular week in Puglia.

A DREAM stay for our honeymoon. more than a hotel, a heartfelt experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Palazzo Stunis during our honeymoon, and honestly, it felt like walking into a dream. Matteo and his wonderful staff made us feel not like guests, but like cherished friends. If you’re wondering where to stay in Ostuni… you’ve already found it. Matteo is the kind of host who reminds you that details are everything. From the moment we arrived, every gesture – big or small – was filled with warmth, care, and genuine hospitality. He helped us with our luggage, parked our car, and even took the time to walk us around, sharing beautiful stories about the town and its hidden corners. The house itself is a living museum, lovingly preserved and cared for just as much as its guests. Every room whispers elegance, history, and charm. The breakfasts were divine, and the bed? Like sleeping on a cloud. But Matteo goes beyond all expectations: he made a dinner reservation for us in a place so incredible, we can truly say we’ve never eaten so well or been treated so beautifully in our lives. I had the most amazing stay in this incredibly charming home. The place was impeccably clean and restored to give a modern feel while retaining it's original 19th Century details, it was exquisite! Matteo and the staff were as charming as their place, so warm, welcoming, kind, and helpful. Matteo was a delight to talk with and not only suggested some of his favorite places to eat and visit in the region, but was happy to make reservations for me as well. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in (I asked him the brand because I want the same one for home), amazing shower, breakfast, and I can go on and on. It was by far the nicest place I stayed at in my 3 week journey through Southern Italy. Also to note, I felt extremely comfortable here traveling alone. I hope I get to stay here one day again!

What a charming bed and breakfast. Matteo is the consummate host who graciously shared his family home which is renovated to perfection when the exquisite attention to detail. Matteo was so generous in recommending restaurants, beaches and arranging all, making it a special stay. Ostuni is a charming and magical town.

To our new friend Matteo from Palazzo Stunis… it was our pleasure to come to Puglia for the first time & stay at your B&B! We came from the USA and we left feeling very happy we booked here! The home is soooo lovely, clean, well-kept, and super hospitable. The bed & pillows were so comfortable & the morning breakfast was so beautiful. The location is also perfect to walk 5 mins into the center of town. Parking for your car also available. Matteo went above and beyond to make local recommendations in Ostuni, Bari, Mattera, Lecce, and even for beach clubs. He is a kind, sweet, and hardworking host & we will forever remember this trip to Puglia. We rate this establishment 10/10.

What an amazing place! Palazzo Stunis is the best hotel we have enjoyed whilst in Puglia. The palazzo, family- owned for several generations, has been lovingly, meticulously, and artfully renovated by Matteo , our most extraordinary elegant and refined host. The room ( parental suite) is exquisitely decorated with high ceilings, and painted frescoes. The adjoining bathroom is impeccably clean boasting the plushest bath towels and hand -embroidered hand towels. The hand embroidered , fine linen bed sheets are changed every day. What a treat! The breakfast buffet , replete with a cornucopia of fresh fruit, croissants, baked goods, yoghurts, eggs any style, cured meats , cheeses…… is a lavish feast , unseen anywhere else. Matteo is the epitome of kindness, efficiency, and refinement. We feel privileged to have been able to stay at that marvelous palazzo in beautiful Ostuni.
