This hotel has a good location, making it convenient for exploring the city. Most staff were welcoming and helpful. However, it’s more of a basic place to sleep rather than a comfortable stay—amenities like an electric kettle, tissues, slippers, and toiletries (toothbrush, etc.) were missing. If you just need a simple, no-frills stay in a good spot, it works.

the room was not really hygienic coz i could find approximately ten different hairs on my bed. location is good as it’s pretty close to the central station.

Good place for young people and group if friends. No kettles in room though. Good common area. Great environment and cleanliness. Location is perfect and ideal. All attractions of the city are walkable. View from the room is attached

The hotel location is good, near to city centre. The room size is just right for two persons. The mattress isn’t that firm, so if you used to firm mattress, please be aware.

I have to it’s a great stay

Location wise, it is 10mins by bus from the central train station. However, the hotel is located in a rather rough neighborhood (you will see the area around is a little bit dirtier, with more graffiti …). Otherwise, the staff was nice and friendly. The room is nice and spacious.

Bathroom was flooded with water during and after use. There's a noticeable difference in rooms, some rooms are older then other's. Staff was very nice.

The bed is so comfortable. It's so clean. I really like the Nordic interior design and lighting in my room. But this neighbourhood is under major construction. A few buildings nearby are being demolished. Walk carefully when you go out.

Overall alright but got stuck in lift and room has no powerpoint.

I had the pleasure of staying at Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget on the night of July 28th, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service provided by Mr. Ponters during his shift from 10pm to 2am. During my stay, I encountered a significant challenge as my luggage had been delayed for two days with no updates from the airline company. In this moment of distress, Mr. Ponters went above and beyond to assist us. Not only did he generously offer the hotel telephone for us to contact the airline company, but he also displayed genuine concern by consistently checking in on us to ensure we were coping well with the situation. Furthermore, Mr. Ponters did not stop there. Understanding our predicament, he took the initiative to recommend nearby stores where we could purchase essential items such as toothpaste and slippers. His thoughtful suggestions made our temporary inconvenience much more bearable. Mr. Ponters' kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to provide assistance in a time of need truly set him apart. His exceptional customer service skills and genuine empathy exemplify the epitome of hospitality. It is without a doubt that Mr. Ponters deserves to be commended for his outstanding performance. His dedication to ensuring the comfort and well-being of guests is truly commendable. In my opinion, his exceptional service merits recognition, and I strongly believe that he deserves a raise for his exemplary efforts. Thank you, Mr. Ponters, for turning a challenging situation into a positive experience through your kindness and exceptional service. Your professionalism and empathy did not go unnoticed and were greatly appreciated.

Very nice hostel. We arrived late and there was no twin bed room left so they give us two single room. The sevice was very nice and I appreciate it :D.

The hotel is abt 12mins walk from the central station. The staff is nice and helpful. The twin bed room i stayed was clean and tidy. It costs 90nok for using the washing machine and dryer. Everything is good except for the wifi is slow and sometimes even need to reconnect.
