The hotel check-in experience was extremely disappointing. Firstly, I did not receive the email confirmation for my hotel reservation. When I arrived at the hotel, there was no staff at the front desk to assist me, and my calls went unanswered. Without the registration number, I was unable to get help. After contacting the trip.com staff, they were able to email me the registration information.
Once I had the necessary details, the hotel provided me with a room number and door key. However, the door key did not work. I contacted the trip.com staff again, but they were unable to reach the hotel staff. We spent a total of 3 hours in the area without access to air conditioning. The hotel eventually explained that this was a system error, and the key code could not be used to enter the room.
The inability to reach the hotel staff and the malfunctioning door key created an extremely frustrating and unpleasant check-in experience. The hotel's local contact number also went straight to voicemail. If you are considering this hotel, I would advise allowing extra time to handle potential issues, as the lack of responsive staff and technical problems can significantly disrupt your travel plans.
