A beautiful boutique style family run hotel. We stayed in a 2 story apartment which had stunning views. We ate here every evening as the food was so delicious, sevice was perfect and the setting is stunning. The business was started by mum and dad and now the 2 sons run the place, with Mum still helping the chef to cook delicious Greek dishes! I am gluten intolerant and was catered for easily. There is a small pool area, but we walked to a local beach a 5/10minute walk away, which had lovely sunbeds. The bus can be taken from just outside the hotel.

Excellent short stay for 3 nights as part of an island hopping holiday. The brothers who run the hotel are friendly, want to ensure that you enjoy your stay. The rooms are well furnished and very clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent, home cooked with something for everyone. We ate evening meals at the hotel as the food was so good, we didn't feel the need to go 10mins drive back into town. Easy to see why this hotel gets a 5 star review.

We used this hotel for 6 nights on our island hopping adventure and would not hesitate to stay here again, preferably for longer next time as enjoyed it that much. This is a top quality family run establishment and everyone works so hard to ensure that the guest has a fantastic stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern and a real testament to the family. We had a deluxe room (47) that came with balcony and a perfect view across the sea to the over populated and expensive island of Mykonos, we watched the cruise ships come and go daily and wondered why people want to go to Mykonos when Tinos is far better and quieter. The room was fantastic, the air con worked perfectly and the small kitchen was there if we needed it. There is a small plunge pool available at the hotel with sun beds but there a couple of beaches nearby. The better beach (less seaweed) is around the corner (10 mins walk) and sun bed set only 12 euro for the day at the Akti hotel. Breakfast at this hotel (Porto Raphael) was delicious and plenty of choice (omelette, mini quiche, orange juice, yogurt and the fantastic homemade rice pudding), we also ate dinner here twice and on both occasions was delicious. Big thank you to the family for a great stay and would not hesitate to book again for 2025 and recommend this hotel to others.

During our recent two-week visit to Greece, we spent three nights at Porto Raphael on Tinos. This is a beautiful apartment and hotel complex overlooking Agios Ioannis beach. The hotel is run by brothers Isidouris (sp) and Ioulianos. Their mother does the cooking. The stay was awesome, and the food was so good, we ate there every night. But it was not the food or the location, or the facilities that made this hotel stand out; it was the people. Isidouris and Ioulianos were so warm and welcoming they are the embodiment of the Greek word φιλότιμο (philotimo) which in itself defies definition. They want everyone to enjoy their beautiful island, and they treat every guest like family. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes outside of Tinos Town. If you do not rent a car, there is a bus stop literally at the bottom of the hill outside the hotel. There is also reliable taxi service available. Isidouris highly recommends renting a car, as there is so much to see on the island. Neither my wife nor I feel confident enough to drive on a Greek island and we surely missed out on one of the best parts of our trip.

Stayed here for 4 nights and can’t speak highly enough of the whole operation. From arrival to leaving with were so well looked after by the lovely family who own and run the hotel. We had a very spacious room with sea view with great a/c and facilities. The hotel and grounds are immaculate and constantly being looked after. Breakfast is good and fresh. We also had dinner at the hotel twice which was excellent and fairly priced. Handy bus service to town too. All in all a wonderful experience.

Stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. The standard was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the room was nice size with a small seating area in front overlooking the beach. Breakfast was wonderful, good choice of options always being topped up by the staff. Only downside was the pool area was very small, however the beach is only 5 minutes away.
