Caravela Beach Resort

We stayed at Caravella from the 31st October to 3rd November and I must say, we had an absolutely wonderful time at the resort. It almost felt like we were pampered by them. We stayed in the beach view rooms, which were cosy and each had a balcony of its own. We even checked out the other rooms; family villas and garden facing rooms, and the best part about the way they have all been designed is the welcoming interiors and the usage of space. Another thing that we really loved about Caravella was the staff and their warmth and care. Be it at the main restaurant or the housekeeping service or the reception, even the buggy drivers, were all extremely courteous and willing to help, sometimes even before we asked. They were extremely attentive and always had a smile no matter what. Sometimes with professionalism, comes a but of arrogance, but that was not the case at all over here. Ankita and Gorakh were two very attentive and warm people we met at the restaurant and made sure all our meals were taken care of. The hotel breakfast was another highlight of our stay with a very wide spread that caters to vegetarian, non vegetarians and was a sumptuous combination of north Indian, south Indian and continental, so there was something (a lot actually!) for everyone. And of course, the private beach is really really good for swimming, dipping your feet or even just lounging around. Theirs even an option to cycle on the beach which is chargeable but worth it especially during the sunset time. The only thing I would've liked would be some air conditioning in the lobby area, which gets quite heated up and humid during the summers. Apart from that, we really had a lovely time at the resort and would love to come again soon.

Though the team mixed up my reservations by allocating rooms I didn’t ask for, they more than made up for the same. Right from Abhishek , Himanshu, Teressa, Pooja, the whole team seems to be hand picked for serving with just 1 motive - customer delight! And they did a fabulous job of the same. Yes the rooms need some upgrades, but the entire experience was great. They have one if the best beaches in Goa. So go there and enjoy with ease!

There are very few in the hospitality industry who goes out of their way in delivering giving you that satisfaction and makes you wanna come back. There was nothing to complaint about this property right from the courteous and humble staff, quality and variety food, jaw dropping location and extremely clean and spacious room, everything was simply perfect. The front desk manage Kranti Desai made our stay even more memorable by treating our needs like her own which elevated our whole experience. Thank you so much for such humble hospitality. I would highly recommend this property to experience class out of mass in south goa.

This was our third visit and as always our experience was great. We were there for 4 days. When we arrived we saw that a wedding event and a corporate retreat was also planned during those 4 days but to our surprise there was no impact to the guest staying at the hotel Caravela staff were so well organized and efficient that we never felt that they were any event happening at the hotel and I believe they were completely booked. From the front desk, room service, housekeeping and the staff at the restaurant, everyone as usual were amazing. Children activity centre kept our overactive 3yr old busy through out the day. From making sand castles at the beach to face painting. They have activities lined for the whole week. This is our 4th visit to Caravela and the food and the service is still absolutely fantastic. We love the location, the beach and the rooms which are clean and comfortable. The Pan Asian Restaurant is a must as also the one on the beach. Very friendly staff always with a smile and ready to help.
