The view from the rooms is simply stunning. The hotel is almost new and built to a very high standard. The rooms are big with a generous balcony to watch the sunset with glass of wine. The road up is narrow but well paved with passing places.

Simple yet unique
The road there is an adventure and the stay is unique. The rooms are simple but the view from the balcony is a dream. I bought a bottle of the local wine and sat on the balcony all evening. The breakfast was personalized and the staff/family was lovely and very welcoming! I highly recommend this "castle-like" home for travelers that love the sound of the ocean!

Remote and narrow long road entry but very nice. Nice simple breakfast but no other food available. Will stay again.

bsolutely spectacular! Spacious comfortable apartment. Kitchenette suffiicienct for preparation of simple meals...huge bonus in covid times. Superb housekeeping, excellent towels and bedding, everything spotless. The LOCATION...frankly nothing can prepare you thís....fantastic! Even the access road is a short, but very beautiful adventure. The outdoor infinity pool is gorgeous and refreshing in May. Never seen a nicer pool. Truly fabulous. Great here for walkers, bird watchers and simply sitting and enjoying the view. Can also recommend to those who are not very mobile. just a few easy steps (handrail) to lower floor OR a slightly longer route with gentle slope via pool and garden area. Best of all at this lovely place are the incredibly kind and helpful hosts. Don´t know how we´d have managed without them. thank you...we´ll look forward to returning.

Such a stunning location and most friendly owners
Excellent location when hiking the coastal line or the camino the Santiago
The owners are the most friendly and helpful people and you feel straight at home.
Stunning views from the room, calm and a nice living room with the wood fire on to hang out in.
Breakfast was excellent and served with a smile, and they are very helpful with giving you the best insides of the region.

Panorami bellissimi, quiete assoluta, ma l'essere un po' fuori da tutto è abbastanza penalizzante al momento di andare (per forza in auto) a cena giù in paese: la strada, pur bene asfaltata, è molto molto stretta e obbliga a manovre non semplici se s'incontra un'altra automobile. Colazione buona ma sempre identica, arredamento assai spartano. A Orio c'è un'unica spiaggia (non attrezzata con lettini e ombrelloni, anche se wc e docce sono gratis e pulitissimi) e per andare a Zarautz o Getaria serve mezz'ora di auto. Molto interessante, in compenso, la possibilità di fare trekking sui sentieri circostanti.

Estupendo lugar, situado en un entorno incomparable, con preciosas vistas al mar. La habitación muy cómoda, el desayuno muy bueno y el trato con los dueños extraordinario. Además el recinto tiene una piscina sin fin, también con maravillosas vistas. Si podemos, volveremos a ir.

Realmente todo ha sido tan maravilloso que no sabría por dónde empezar: la limpieza, la tranquilidad, el desayuno y sobre todo la piscina y las vistas. Todo ha sido increíble!!!. El único "pero" que se podría poner es el horario de la piscina que podría empezar a utilizarse un poquito antes y terminar un poquito después.Para volver seguro.
