Le Chateau Ocean Villas

The property is close to a small beach, shopping, and restaurants. However, when I arrived, no one appeared to be onsite. A neighbour provided a phone number for the manager, who seemed to have no record of my reservation. Eventually, the lady cleaning the property came out and showed me to my unit, which was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with full sized fridge and stove, coffee maker, pots, pans, plates, and utensils. The TV worked well, and the garden around the property is beautiful and serene. However, the blinds covering the front door of my unit were partly broken, so I always had to keep the bedroom door closed for privacy. The batteries in the remote for the AC were run down, so I was sometimes not able to get it to turn off or on. The soap dish in the shower was broken off, so no place to rest the soap. The wi-fi was off for a couple of days, but we were given alternative credentials by the cleaning lady. If you want a safe, reasonable, clean place to stay downtown, this will work. But, if you prefer something less rustic, book a hotel.
