Hôtel Saint Jean

The location was excellent and we really enjoyed the breakfast, with several delicious homemade jams. Our room was extremely basic (almost hostel-like), with nowhere to place luggage and a tiny bathroom where the door just managed to clear the sink. Communication with the hotel was challenging, in that emails would go unanswered without repeated attempts and the phone was almost never picked up, even during the times specified by the hotel that reception was open. After several attempts to ask about luggage storage, the owner kindly agreed to keep reception open an additional half hour to accommodate our train arrival. Unfortunately, our train was delayed on the tracks for about 45 mins which meant we arrived later than expected at that hotel. I tried to email and telephone to inform the owner of the delay but neither were answered. When we rushed to the hotel regardless, as I felt so badly about not showing up as expected, we were met by a very visibly irritated owner. We truly had no expectation that the owner would wait for us and all this could have been avoided if the owner would answer the phone and/or check emails regularly. It was unfortunate, and despite the location and breakfast, I would not recommend the hotel.

Joli hôtel bien situé. Les gérants sont très sympas très avenants. Chambre propre et fonctionnelle il ne manque rien. Il mérite une étoile de plus! Ma fille et moi avons passé un agréable séjour 👍👍.

Halte dans cet hôtel lors de la viarhona, à Orange et avons été très bien accueillis, nos vélos ont été mis en sécurité, les batteries rechargées au garage. L'hôtel est très bien situé près du théâtre. La chambre et la salle de bain, petites mais propres. Nous avons passé une bonne nuit, un peu bruyant en soirée, veille de weekend et merci aux jeunes de sillonner le centre ville avec leur sono à fond. Heureusement, cela n'a pas duré toute la nuit. 😏😉 Je recommande cet hôtel aux cyclistes désirant une nuitée en plein centre ville.
