Heritage Hotel Imperial - Liburnia

Amazing! We loved everything. Stuff are so polite and kind. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food is great. We love it! Location is the best. Overall we will back again definitely. After Heritage we stay at Valamar and we felt so disappointed because we had best service in Heritage ever

Great value stay. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meal buffet was very good. Rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. Some public areas are showing a bit of wear. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a great location in the centre of town. No pool.

The rooms are dated with limited light and plugs, the king bed is 2 single beds put together. We were sitting on patio after having a couple of beer we needed something to eat and even though they have a menu there is no food. We left to eat and then came back to sit and have a game of cards. At that time we didn’t want anything to drink and were told we had to leave enough it is part of the hotel and the patio was empty. Later the cafe manager Tin came to apologize but the damage had been done by his staff. There is no where to relax in this hotel except your room. We went to the spa and the tubs were lukewarm warm with no railing to get in or out. It’s amazing how one person can make your stay questionable!

We found all of the employees friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms, although very old, have been recently renovated and are stunning. The dining room with its 25-30 ft tall ceilings was grand. My favorite hotel on this tour

This was my first stay in hotel Imperial for non-business purposes, and overall I can say we were indeed very satisfied, and would gladly come again. This is indeed an old hotel, so it has it charm of former times, but was (recently) throughout refurbished and its up to the modern standards. It’s essentially a modern hotel in an old skin. Not necessarily everyone’s cup of tea, but we liked it. Location doesn’t get any more central, which as a result means you will hear some street noise, but that’s is to be expected. Service was just outstanding, everyone was very polite and more then helpful. Up to a level that after a few days you feel almost as at home. Breakfast is perfect, nothing more can be desired. Dinner is ok (we had a half board), it’s not a Michelin star quality, and there is some room for improvement, but there is a lot of variety and is certainly a good value for the money. Would take it again. Parking is a bit of a hassle as location is central, and cost extra 25Euro per day, which is the same as the costs of parking on Opatija public grounds, but just plan this and call hotel in advance. To sum up, this a great hotel in centaur of Opatija, and we are planning to come again, primarily because of excellent personal that makes us feel like home.

We had an amazing stay at the Imperial Hotel in Opatija last month. The room was large, luxurious, and comfortable, and the staff was especially welcoming. We particularly loved Arnel, who was one of our wonderful waiters during the buffet breakfasts and dinners (where the food was amazing, by the way). Arnel was incredibly kind and considerate about our every need, and was very attentive to detail. He was clearly a very hard worker, and we saw how he worked well under pressure and even with a large number of guests in the dining room. He never forgot an order and was very prompt in everything he did. Definitely a trip we will never forget!
