The service of all the staff members were excellent. We had amazing welcome. That set the tone for our stay. The room was very clean, and smalls really relaxing. The showers were excellent. We had breakfast and it was delicious. In addition we asked them to prepare some snacks to have it with our drinks and they did amazing job.

We received a warm welcome from Amaljith (Manager) and Geethu (Director of Operations), setting the tone for an excellent stay. Every request was met with a smile by Vishnu (Senior Server) and Athul, who ensured our experience was seamless. Vishnu also went the extra mile to arrange laundry service—a much-needed relief after three weeks of travel. We made a special request for pakoras, even though they weren’t on the menu, and they turned out to be absolutely delicious. With outstanding hospitality, attentive service, and thoughtful touches, we highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Marli hill bungalow is a beautiful ‘home’ set amidst lovely gardens, overlooking the hills of Ooty. The rooms were comfortable & the decor was gorgeous. The service was excellent! We were looked after by Amal the manager, Sai, Atul & the chef. We were even provided with heaters for our room & bathroom. Amal also arranged a wonderful walking tour for us in the Toda land. Communication with us before & after our stay was excellent. The food we requested was authentic & delicious -typical of Tamil Nadu. This place is a real gem & is highly recommended as an alternative to the usual hotel. We loved our 3 days there!

What an amazing place we were met by Amal and Geethu and immediately felt at home...nothing too much trouble ..arranged a cookery lesson and served the most delicious home made food ...if your in Ooty this homestay must be on the top of your list. Rooms are immaculate, clean and more than comfortable. Wish we had longer to stay will definitely be back

Amaljist and his team were fantastic , both in communication and sorting out our tour excursions. Top marks to the chef , his dinners and breakfast completed an authentic tamil hill station experience as well as catering for our occasional western tastes . The grounds of the marli hill were relaxing and beautifully laid out . This small establishment ( only 6 rooms ) is not to be missed

A delightful hill station bungalow with large rooms, pleasant grounds, good food and attentive, charming staff. Ideal homestay in Ooty. It's above the main town and very quiet. Probably built 100 years ago and well maintained and modernised.

Marlihill is part of a colonial bungalow and is quant. They retain an old world charm with very attentive service to top it off. The room Is large and has a lot of character with a 4 poster bed and some great artwork. The property is around 1.5km away from the Botanical Garden (which is a must visit while you are in Ooty). The breakfast was great with hot food cooked by the chef on the spot. The service was really good and one day when our kids were hungry they cooked a great Khichdi. Recommend the stay !

Just leaving after a memorable 2 night stay at Marli Hill where we brought in the new year. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and no ask was ever too much. The rooms and the whole estate were immaculate and the food was delicious. The chef was very accommodating to our group of 6 as some were vegetarian and others not. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Marli Hill! The hospitality, the food, the rooms were lovely! Vishnu was really energetic, friendly, and great to chat with - as so was all the rest of the stay! I would highly recommend anyone to stay in this gem!
