Lamorna

Had a fantastic weekend stay at Lamorna looked after brilliantly by Tracey. Room spotless and filled with everything needed. Parking out front on large drive. Bed comfortable all in all a great place to stay whether its work or play, you would be accommodated in fine fashion. Brian & Polly

We had a fantastic stay in a clean and well equipped lodge in a very large and comfortable bed We were greeted by Tracy who was very pleasant and informative about beautiful Olney and the surrounding areas and attractions /bars / restaurants Would definitely stay here again 👍

Lamorna is well situated near the hub of Olney, an easy walking distance to the high street and the Cowper/Newton Museum. There’s good parking available and the rooms are well maintained. The normal cooked breakfast is currently not available but a selection of cereals and toast were available for those who wished to have those. That’s a good idea as a temporary replacement from the normal cooked breakfast. Note to the owner: the small glitch with the hot water this morning was entirely understandable - these things happen but what was inexcusable to us was the cheap mattress that we had on the bed. Next time you’re up in the Red Room, sit on the side of the bed and see if you think that that mattress passes the acceptability test. It’s cheap rubbish and not worthy of this B&B. Sorry to give this B&B a bad rap but the bed reminded us of a dodgy hotel we stayed in 30 years ago in Kurri Kurri.

Stayed for one night while attending family party. Booked two room, one a double and one single. Both rooms lovely and clean and very comfortable. On arrival we were made very welcome by Tracey. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again 🥰 Only negative no Wi-Fi
