Edith, the owner of the Bed and Breakfast, welcomed us very warmly and is a wonderful host. She attended to all our needs and gave us a nice, big room in her new building overlooking the river and sunset, which provided a calming background noise. The room was big and clean. There is hot water, but no heater in the room. Edith offered us a warm alpaca blanket instead, but it was warm enough in May. Breakfast was typical Peruvian scrambled eggs, local bread and homemade strawberry jam, with an extra nice touch of fruit salad on cereal. We would stay here again to explore the beautiful historic Ollantaytambo.

The owners are super nice and the breakfast was very good. The rooms are quite small, and the bathroom was a bit lacking- no towel rack at all and no hairdryer. Beds were just okay. Good view of the river and a relaxing little place. We needed an Uber to get here as it is a bit far from the train station and pretty dark on the streets at night.

I was made to feel so welcome at this lovely mountain lodge by Edith and Stijn and everyone who works at Quecha's Lodge. The highlights for me were the location (mountain and river views from my room), the warm and welcoming service and breakfast every morning. Thanks for being so flexible when I wanted to add another day onto my stay, and for making me feel almost like part of the family while I was there. The river is loud but it's like white noise in the background and honestly a very calming presence, and just being able to open the door to such incredible views of the mountains and river put air in my lungs. The location is very good with it being a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Ollyantaytambo, and 15-20 minutes to the station (with regular tuktuks passing if you need them). You can either walk along the road by the river (useful if you have wheely suitcases, as it's smoothly surfaced) or a quieter route along a cobbled path if you fork left as you leave the guest house. There's also a shop right next door which is useful if you need bottled water/essentials. The rooms could maybe do with a tiny bit of paint here and there, and maybe some lighting on the stairs outside, but everything was clean and the location and service were unbeatable.

Een unieke plek om te verblijven en de omgeving te verkennen. Mooie locatie naast de rivier. Comfortabele propere kamer. Douche met warm water. Super ontbijt ! De eigenaars zijn erg aardig. Zij hebben ons geholpen met nuttige info, plannen van uitstappen! Bedankt voor een onvergetelijk verblijf.

Wir wurden sehr herzlichen Empfang. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und kann auf Wunsch auch als Lunch am Morgen früh mitgenommen werden um diverse Ausflüge zu machen. Unsere Motorräder konnten in einem verschlossenen Innenhof parkiert werden. Der Bahnhof ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Gerne jederzeit wieder 👍

Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili; struttura molto bella, con camere che si affacciano sul fiume e sala per la colazione con grandi vetrate che permettono di vedere il paesaggio. Colazione ottima con caffè di loro proprietà, marmellata di fragole fatta dai proprietari ottima.
