My husband and I have stayed at many accommodations in Ogunquit over the years. This venue ranks right up there with the best. We stayed in the Blue Room with a private deck. Perfect for early morning coffee or an afternoon adult beverage. The outside grounds are small, but lovely and well maintained. Breakfast each morning on the common deck was both delicious and delightful. Our hosts, Charles & David, made us feel right at home and fun to chat with. This property is located in a quieter part of town (down Shore Rd), and a 12-minute walk into town or Perkins Cove. Park the car at the Inn and forget about it for your stay.

Once again - I find that I can't find enough superlative adjectives to write about The Dragonfly Guest House after more than a dozen and a half times staying there. It was a happy combination of different circumstances that I found the place, conveniently located on Shore Road between the town of Ogunquit and Perkins Cove (not a far distance as one might think hearing "located between"). Owners Charles and David have become great friends - and, actually, they felt like great friends right from the start. And that's not because I'm special, by any means. The guys greet all their returning guests, as dear friends coming home and new guests are welcomed from the moment they walk through the front door. And, if one needs a break from all there is to do in the area (and there IS a lot), there is a wonderful deck overlooking the beautiful flower garden in the back (matched by the beautiful flowers in the front and the sides). I better stop gushing or else I am going to find the place filled before I make my next season's reservation! :-)

We love everything about the Dragonfly Inn. We recently returned from our 3rd visit to Ogunquit. We would not stay anyplace else! Charles and David are wonderful, warm and gracious hosts. The Inn is immaculate. We have stayed in 3 different rooms over the years. Each one has its own personality. Each one is lovely. The grounds and the gardens are stunning. Charles and David make everyone feel at home. We always meet kind and interesting people to chat with in the evening or at the breakfast table!A wonderful homemade hot entree is served every morning along with other healthy choices. And all the guests look forward to homemade cookies in the afternoon. The location is great, within walking distance to Perkins Cove and Marginal Way, and also the downtown area. Ogunquit is a beautiful place by the sea, and the Dragonfly Inn is always the perfect place to stay!
