Great hotel, superb leisure facilities Attentive bar staff and excellent food

the hotel looks very nice online but in reality it is worn and run down. The restaurant that is attached is the same. There was no ramp to the hotel entrance, lots of steps and no one there to help with bags. It was not a welcoming hotel at all. I would not recommend at all.

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the expectations we had based on the hotel's reputation. Firstly, the temperature throughout the hotel was uncomfortably cold, making it necessary to wear a coat while moving around the premises. Additionally, the water in the pool was not warm, which was quite unpleasant. We encountered significant issues with the water in the hotel rooms : either boiling hot or cold. Furthermore, our dining experience at the bistro on Friday was disappointing. The quality of the food did not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. At breakfast, my avocado toast was burnt on one side and so hard that it was difficult to cut. The service was slow, and we had to move our used plates to other tables as the staff were not clearing them promptly. While the staff were polite and friendly, the overall experience was not up to par with our expectations. On a positive note, the best asset of this hotel is its location, which is right in the middle of the town. The rooms are rather nice and comfortable. Lastly, despite having sent an email to the hotel regarding these issues, we have not received any acknowledgment, which is both worrying and disappointing.
