Jamaica Inn

My husband & I had an amazing time at Jamaica Inn! We originally wanted to do an all-inclusive because we were looking for something more lively & didn’t want to pay for food & drinks as we went. But our travel agent Kelli Alexander #PlanetKelli (Travel Store) talked us into going here instead. We are SO glad we took her advice. The service was so genuine & personal. The atmosphere was authentic & the beach was beautiful. Not too crowded at all. Sometimes we felt like we were the only ones there but dinner time was always full so we knew there was a crowd-probably all relaxing on their own lovely terrace. Food was amazing & reminded us how glad we were that we did NOT go to an AI resort. We also liked that there was an option to do a meal package if we wanted. We snorkeled, paddle boarded, took the boat to Dunn’s River Falls, had the most amazing massages & watched James Bond on the beach with popcorn in hand. We had just enough activity but even more relaxation that we didn’t know we needed until we got there. Can’t say enough about this special place & can’t wait to go back…

Our August 2024 visit to Jamaica Inn marks the 8th time we've returned to Jamaica Inn. Our experience was so outstanding we can't wait to return! The Inn has a private beach: not accessible unless you are on the property. This is wonderful: no one stands on the beach peddling wares. Every room at the Inn is outstanding: ocean views from your verandah. The food is outstanding. It is a culinary experience at every meal. But what keeps us coming back is the staff. It is like reuniting with family. Other resorts have a few "all-star" employees. The Jamaica Inn has all-stars across the board. Morgan and I love our annual stay at Jamaica Inn and cannot wait to return!

Jamaica Inn is a serene, picturesque and absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff are pleasant and joyful and professional. I had the most amazing experience of great service and simple authenticity. I woke up every day in paradise. I was cared for like a queen. I will be back. In the restaurant Shanalee and Garfield were outstanding. Stretch from The bar was amazing. Nadine, Jaqueline and julia who took care of the room were top notch. Christopher on the beach was gem!

Wow the Jamaica Inn did it again! What a fantastic resort with the most stunning beach! We got two bungalows with our private beach! What more can you wish for! Staff made the highlight of our trip and the food is amazing. Loved the pizza! Thank you Jamaica Inn for having us! We will definitely be back! One love

This is a long overdue review of Jamaica Inn, which I wanted to put in after our return from two wonderful (and too short) days at Jamaica Inn. For my wife and I, this was our 4th or 5th stay (though our first since 2019), but this time we were accompanied by our daughter, her boyfriend and another family friend. I was happy to see that everything we appreciated from previous stays - the beauty and simple serenity of the whole place, the wonderful staff, the elegant verandas, the beautiful beach, the wonderful breakfasts - still defines the place. I particularly appreciate the lack of a TV (and the much needed but quite enough AC unit that does not drown out the sounds of the sea), and the non-all inclusive format which gives you the choice of staying in all day, or going out to enjoy the many wonderful restaurants and attractions of the region. With my wife being Jamaican, we've had the pleasure of visiting many parts of the island, each with its own charm, We've also visited several other islands in the Caribbean. So, yes; in Jamaica and elsewhere in the Caribbean, you will find hotels with flashier service and rooms with more amenities. But for simple relaxation in a gorgeous Caribbean setting, Jamaica Inn has everything that you need, nothing that detracts, and is simply unbeatable.

Not only a beautiful place in every way, but the people are all beautiful - kind, helpful, and wanting to care for every need and want. Gary took as snorkeling in his boat, Jackie cleaned our room (twice a day), the head gardener shared his horticultural hints. Front desk persons were so pleasant and efficient and arranged our outings. No request was too big or small. No worries about mosquitos. They have a plug in bug repellent in the room and they gave us a repellent made from natural ingredients. We loved the library, complimentary continental breakfast, and afternoon tea

This was our third visit to the Jamaica Inn, and it was better then ever, which is saying a LOT! We love seeing all the same familiar faces when we visit--thank you to Winston and Marvin for setting us up in our favorite beach spot every day! Thanks to the bar staff for having my husband's favorite Cuban cigars and for indulging my cocktail whims! Thanks especially to Sadie, who is so kind and made our room not only clean, but beautiful, with her special creations. We loved our breakfasts on our peaceful, private, west wing veranda; our lunches on the beach; dinners upstairs, al fresco, and at Teddy's Beach Grill, a great addition that provides another option. Loved the pizza (especially the crust). The beach barbecue chicken was delicious, too! It was really quite hot and humid while we were there. Fortunately, we could spend all day dipping into either the ocean or the pool, so we needn't stay overheated for too long. And the room air conditioner worked beautifully, ensuring we could sleep in comfort.

My husband celebrated his 60th birthday at the Oceans Spa. The excellent treatment before and after was ten out of ten. Marcia's outstanding customer service and support helped to make his experience a wonderful one. Her engaging warmth and professionalism added to our positive experience. Yolanda is a star - her warm, friendly, professional and engaging personality enabled my husband to have the best pedicure ever. Yolanda not only knows what to do but she also knows how to make a customer feel special. She certainly did that and would certainly recommend Yolanda and the Ocean Spa if you want to feel special. We will be back ladies - as your excellent service makes it easy to return.

Absolutely beautiful inn and adjacent beach. Clean, fresh and well cared for. Beautiful grounds. And the staff? Wow. Amazing. Professional but friendly and welcoming. Polite and attend to every detail. I would highly recommend and have no qualms about sending solo travelers, as I was, there. Will be returning very soon.
