Hidden gem. Great location for those looking for a more active location which Ocho Rios is known for. Staff were nice and courteous. The view from the rooms was spectacular. Ms. T’s restaurant was about 5 minutes away which was a plus. Would definitely go back.

The place looks nothing like the pictures. My room old with a dripping shower head , a tv that cant be turned off because there's no remote and bugs all over. Additionally , I was told we couldn't get wash rags to shower because we booked a standard room!!! I am very disappointed in my stay.

HIBISCUS LODGE HOTEL was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea, food was good the staff were friendly the rooms were very clean I would recommend this place. I like that they clean the rooms every day and change towels plus I felt safe leaving my stuff in the room I also loved the hot tub and pool .

Our room had a lovely view of the pool and the sea beyond. We appreciated that and the clean, comfortable accommodations and beautiful garden. We were able to walk the short distance to the center of town and we felt safe doing that. Food in the restaurant was tasty.

Do not stay here. It was advertised as “calming and soothing and relaxing” - not the case at all. The club over the road was so loud it woke us up on the middle of the night and kept us a wake the whole night. I am 4 months pregnant and therefore sleep is crucial at the moment - there was no empathy towards this in any of our communications with staff. The manager was unhelpful and said there was no point moving us to a different room as it was noisy everywhere. They wouldn’t offer us ear plugs. They said they could check us out and refund us but that would leave us nowhere to stay at short notice - leaving us no option. We were offered 10 dollars refund per night only for the inconvenience.

Firstly let me emphasized on the venue, which was beautiful and has a lot of potential to create memories. I got married at this resort in July 2023. We should have seen the RED flags when we had our first encounter with a representative from the catering department . She had no interest in two people that wished to celebrate this special event, we weren’t even given a proper tour to see the different locations and had to do choices from only photos(good thing I’m a simple bride). My husband was the one who mostly communicated with them, but to be honest they should be happy he’s very patience, they weren’t professional in any way or form. Sadly two RED flags, yet we were in love with our location. There is an agent that works at the Front Desk that was very rude and needs training in proper customer service . On the wedding day I had Only one simple request which was to have my room refreshed to take pictures, Lord you didn’t want to know how the conversation went, a gentleman over heard the conversation and assured this would be done ( manager I assume). He did correct her while I was waking away, but can you imagine how I felt and the mind frame this child had set !!!! The housekeeper that came to our room was a GEM she was polite and made me smile after this horrible experience, to be honest I had to TIP her well . Take that from someone who has worked in tourism for over 10 years with the experience of dealing with local and international guests, Important fact, never stereotype and I believe this was one of the cases !!! The reception meal lacked flavor and presentation, honestly our guests did not enjoy the meals and most of it went uneaten. Paid for our cocktail to be served at the top lawn, however no tables were set or area prepared, my guests were served like some pigs in the walk way; realllly ??? With the amount of money we paid I’m happy my husband and my guests kept this information from me until the next day. Plus my wedding entrance pictures were ruined with the server walking with crates from the bar !!! Some servers were OKAY sadly this made a distasteful experience for me. My wedding planner did numerous wedding and decor here only to be told that we won’t be provided our deposit because we placed staples in the wooden surface which was already lined with hundreds of staples. I was not impressed with the service we received, I hope the management team will see this and respond to my email I sent, which has been unanswered over two weeks !!!, Again beautiful place to get married, rooms are also great not the best but it’s clean to create moments and memories. I won’t apologies for my wedding that was nearly ruin by incompetent and untrained staff of your resort!!!! Looking forward to your email …. NB wedding was on JULY 13,2023 happy to share more thoughts !. Suggestions: name tags would be good for your staff to interact better with guests and for security reasons.

Very beautiful hotel surrounded by a colorful garden, located right on a hill facing the coast. You'll find a small pool and a beautiful Pavilion, with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Lays right on Ocho Rio's busy Main St and therefore close to restaurants, activities, ATM's and the local night life. The restaurant is small but delicous with a very professional staff. Would definetly go back there by myself, as a couple or with my wife and kids. Even as a group of friends you'll be able to enjoy your as stay.

Staying 1/16-18. Today is 1/17. Not even going to wait until I leave to write this reviews. Jada is the only saving grace at the desk. Other than the view and cleanliness of property, I wouldn’t recommend the service. Booked 2 rooms. A deluxe and a triple room. You would think it was at two different properties. The triple room is the most basic of basic that it does not even come with wash rag, even upon request, you are told it is not available for that category room. Expect to shower with hand towels if in any other category other than deluxe. You get a 30ml shower gel per room, I guess to last your stay. I am 2 nights and three days. Even after refreshing room, there was no replacement. Asking the front desk for anything, as in rags, shower gels, beach towels , anything at all you, you would think you were interrupting their phone time or better yet begging something. It would be easier if everything was for sale, then maybe you get better attitude or luck getting the basic of items from the front desk. Did I mention, other than a deluxe room, which has a bath, the bathroom in the other categories is one small square. You can’t even turn or you will be on the outside. Maybe the reason they don’t provide wash rags as there is no space to wash. If you plan on staying, travel with your own rag, shower gel and beach towel and this will take away half of your stress of healing with front desk. It is bad enough to not have the basic things you think you be provided, having to deal with the people at the desk give you a worse experience.

Rude cold staff. Breakfast needs to start earlier. The menu is ok but pretty limited. No beach. Just a crappy roped off little lagoon. Super loud if they hold a wedding. Avoid staying there if you can. The only good thing is the massage place next door.
