Moon palace was not prepared at all for the emergency of hurricane barrel !!! We have arrived in Jamaica, not knowing about the hurricane, they offer us a very small and bad located room , which didn’t made my husband happy, the lady at the reception then charge us $1200 plus to be able to move us to a better room with ocean view on the 15th floor , at any moment we have been advised about the hurricane as we check in . The first 2 days everything went well service , food , shows. Weather , everything nice nice on a Tuesday the atmosphere of the hotel start changing and the place went downhill after that , they prepared bunkers with beach chairs and towels on a banquet hall who didn’t fit half of their guests packing people side by side in this crowded smelly hot room with lack of food and sanitation, few bathrooms demanding people to stay in the basement, until they lost control of it !!! Lines for food are huge , and if it was any food left the quality wasn’t good at all , I survived 2 days with one meal a day , because I refuse to stay in line and fight for chicken nuggets, employees are rude and had no answer or could explain anything!!! We had to climb 15 floors of stairs many times to be able to eat , and one night I had to shower on the beach because we had no water at the room , honestly I do think that moon palace had the obligation to be more prepared for this kind of situation as they said they are , but it wasn’t the case !! Honestly I think they should refund everyone that stay there those days under this terrible conditions Sincerely Adriana
