AluaSun Helios Beach - All Inclusive

Hotel was clean and room was spacious. When we arrived (late arrivals at 00:30) staff had provided us with a variety of meat, cheese and bread in the restaurant which was a really nice touch. Receptionist who had checked us in was lovely as were the restaurant staff. Great selection of food in the restaurant at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Animation team were great and kept people entertained in the day at the pool with Aqua sports and family games, entertainment of an evening was also very good. Pool was a great size, I felt there was plenty of room even when there were others in there, I didn't feel there wasn't enough room to have our own space. We found that there were always sun loungers available too which was nice. Hotel backs onto the beach which is also a nice option. Pool bar was a nice touch as we could remain in the pool to get our drinks with stools to sit at the bar if you wanted. My only gripe with this experience was with a member of bar staff named Nikolos. I found his behaviour around my partner to be inappropriate knowing we were a couple. A very sleazy young lad. This made my partner feel uncomfortable to go to the bar when he was there so I would go instead. His attitude towards me was very cold, bordering rude, just very immature. Aside from this, the rest of the staff were friendly, polite and professional. Overall, good experience.

I came here as a family of 6 and we loved it. Initially thought we had booked sunny beach but was so glad we hadn't when we saw it as Obzor is so much nicer. The girls could wonder about without us being worried about them. The place is kept spotless, there's a couple of really cute kittens wondering about, the bar staff are lovely. The food was lovely too, loads of choice and I've came home a fatty! The beach is gorgeous, also spotless

Located directly next to the beach and also a beautiful park. The city centre being only a ten minute walk, couldn't be more perfect. We arrived after 11pm check-in was dealt with quickly by a friendly receptionist. The room we found in the morning had nice seaview, the beds were comfy as we both slept well. The food throughout the week was good with the usual choice of hot meal or salad. No complaints there. The pool had a lot of sunbeds available, those out on the beach were not hotel beds and were chargeable. We were AI and the drinks were the usual local ones. The hotel was kept very clean all the staff were friendly. The only down side was the lack of evening entertainment, the only night that something was watched and enjoyed by the large majority was when some very talented dancers did a show. They were very good. Considering the amount of people staying they should have good entertainment every night. Just a warning to people with walking difficulties there are no lifts so you may struggle, even the restaurant is upstairs. Also if your looking for some lively nightlife don't bother, the bars close at 11:00 pm Would we go again? Almost certainly.

If you like the smell of strong tobacco from Dutch polish Russian people around the pool and constant loud music round the pool from 10-6 drowning out your earbuds then this is the place for you Peace and tranquility it is NOT However rooms are kept very clean and food is ok It’s just the constant LOUD music from the huge speaker by the pool all day but if you want a chilled vibe there is a nice beach bar 30 meters away ORO beach bar who have the vibe just right

I stayed at this wonderful hotel 9th- 16th May.This was my first trip to Bulgaria and I was quietly impressed. The greeting I received from the (front of desk manager) Bilyana was welcoming and sincere. She was caring very helpful and polite she made me feel happy to be there straight away. The hotel is quiet a big one and kept very clean. It's right on a blue flag fantastic beach with miles of sand. The food I found to be good and plenty of choice in the dining room and the drinks too.The pool is big and there is one for the children. The main pool has a swim up bar and steps to get in safe. My room was lovely with a pool and sea view and there was a kettle to. It was cleaned every day and towels changed regularly. The entertainment was ok with live artists ,Bingo,and quizzes. It's worth knowing that there are no lifts so people with walking difficulties may struggle. All the staff were fantastic and could not do enough for me and other guests. I would like to give a special mentionto some. First Bilyana ( Front Office Manager) a lovely woman who was kind and helpful and professional throughout my stay, a credit to the hotel also the company. Secondly, The girls in the dining room who were polite, friendly,and very efficient,Kristina,Julia,Nastya.and the other Kristina also the chefs and cooks. Thirdly the bar staff Borislav ,Vanya,Nelka,and Nedelina who taught me a little Bulgarian.,they were very efficient and professional in there jobs. Thank you to you all for making my holiday special. This is recommended for a Budget short break, We stayed for 3 nights its an extremely small resort and the food is repetitive so I wouldn't recommend going for much longer. The view of the sea day and night is lovely, quiet, relaxed Small shows didn't start till 9:30pm which I thought was late I would come back if it was June onwards when the season has started/ shops are open and its actually warm enough to get in the pool!
