Hotel Haus am See Self Check-IN billeder

Booked at very last minute when i was in Hallstatt. Glad i found this gem. My room facing the Hallstatt lake and just walking distance to Obertraun train station and also the bus stop. The village is pretty awesome too. Comfy bed and huge balcony. The view was stunning! The instructions given for self check in was very helpful and accurate too.

The location is quite far away from Hallstatt if you are planning to use this as a base (ard 10-20 min bus or 5 min train + ferry if you catch the train), but the view and price definitely compensate it. The view is really fantastic and you can see Hallstatt and the absolutely stunning lake view from your room if you book the balcony one. It is a really good deal for me. The staff is also very nice and friendly. But do note that luggage storage is a paid service (2 euro for one day so I thk its not bad). Also you only have your own bathroom, but not toilet in your room (in my case I have to walk a little to find my toilet which is shared within 2 rooms) If you do not mind these, this is a perfect room with the perfect view!

Nice hotel, clean and friendly staff. Need to take bus to travel to Hallstatt. Overall is good experience.

Nice hotel, mountain view, we initially had problem with the view but trip.com supported us. the staff was nice and supportive. We did not try the breakfast but you can try if you have time.

It has a very good scenic view look from the window. The location of the hotel is situated just behind lake. A nice hotel for travelers.

The view is fantastic. I couldn’t imagine what I experienced in these three days. It is near the train station. And have connecting ships and buses to the Hallstatt city centre. It’s very convenient. The staffs and nice as well!!!

The owner is quite nice to answer my question. Also, the cleanliness of room js nice that have a balcony. I can see the star and seat at the balcony at the evening. It is my memorable experience. After wake up, I have a breakfast and sit nearly to the lake. It is so relax and enjoyable with tasty meal. In addition, nearby the hotel it has playground.
