La Casa Carlota

Perfect combination of comfort, personalized and personable service in an excellent location. With only five guest rooms, the place feels like staying in somebody's house, only with first-rate hotel service. The staff are all very friendly and hard working young people going out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. They clean the place super thoroughly every day. Breakfast is served on the patio or in the downstairs living room and includes fresh fruit/yogurt/cereal/etc. plus a daily hot dish with local ingredients and flavors prepared fresh (if you do not want the particular dish, they are happy to make you some eggs or modified version of the daily breakfast special). The rooms and common areas are tastefully decorated with plants and local artwork. The entire house is a pleasure for the senses. The rooftop terrace is lovely and offers a beautiful sunset view. Great place to take your evening drink and relax after a day of touristing. Will definitely book there again if we come back to Oaxaca.

Best staff ever, will go out of their way to help with anything. Great breakfast and wonderful location. You just can’t beat the service here. Best shower in all of Mexico and comfy beds. Thanks to all the staff at Casa Carlota.

This is a terrible scam. They advertise things they do not offer. The Google maps location is way off. We are leaving this place before we even checked in! Dishonest NOT NICE.You have wasted our time and money. I cannot remmend enough to skip this place and find any other place

We had a lovely stay at La Casa Carlota. This charming small BnB has king sized beds which are hard to find, and a nice cold and cooked-to-order hot breakfast. Great water pressure, in room coffee. We did need our white noise app as there is a wedding venue nearby and you will hear lots of celebrating! But Mexico is not a quiet country, it is part of the charm. Dulce and Hugo were very responsive to questions and great hosts. The neighborhood is very well located next to the historic aqueduct. Lovely peaceful rooftop patio. Highly recommended!

Die ruhig gelegene Casa Carlota ist ein B&B mit lediglich 5 Zimmern. Kürzlich renoviert zeigt sich das Hotelito attraktiv und wird von ausgesprochen freundlichem Personal geführt. Die Zimmer sind schlicht, sauber und mit Kingsize-Betten ausgestattet. Die Duschen/WC klein und funktionell. Etwas nachteilig ist, dass alle Zimmer auf den Innenhof gerichtet sind und deshalb mit Milchglas befenstert sind, da man davor durchgeht. Alle Zimmer verfügen über eine Klimaanlage (Minisplit). Das Frühstück ist klein und gut. Ein kleines Buffet mit Müesli, Früchten, Joghurt sowie Toastbrot, Butter, Honig und Konfi. Hie und da gibt es kostenlos Extras, wie Tacos usw. Zur Santo Domingo-Kirche ist es zu Fuss 5 Minuten, zur Plaza Mayor 13 Minuten. Obwohl klein, geniesst die Casa Carlota einen sehr guten Ruf und ist selbst dem Taxifahrer am Flughafen bekannt.

Excelente servicio, sus trabajadores muy serviciales y amables, te ayudan con el acceso al hotel. Viaje con mis amigas y estuvo super seguro además de que nos ayudaron con las atracciones y los tours. Y el desayuno muy rico y con variedad.
