Hotel Azul de Oaxaca

Beautiful hotel. Fabulous location, close to Santo Domingo Church, Zocalo plaza, El Llano park, the Cat cafe and the Jalatlaco neighborhood. Worth noting that the WiFi wasn’t great inside the room, I think due to the thick walls of the rooms. We would sit in the hotel restaurant and work from a table. Which was beautiful. Better than sitting in the room. Staff was helpful and attentive.

Hotel Azul is a amazing property with immaculate attention to detail. All of the suites are designed by local artists, there are free bikes to utilize throughout your stay, there was always bottled water in our room, and the restaurant's food and drinks were fresh and delicious. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Every person on-site from the front-desk attendant, general manager, to housekeeping attendant was great! I've never seen a cleaning staff do such a good job on a property before - I came back to my room early one day, and found them mopping the floors, cleaning the toilets with a sponge (inside and outside), and completely scrubbing the sinks and showers. HIGHLY recommend when you're in Oaxaca! Hospitality, location, and vibe are completely unmatched. 10/10

It was amazing, the service is out of this world and the hotel is beautiful. The staff are super attentive and are ready for every circumstance that may appear in your visit. They try to help in every way they can.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I could have ever asked for! For starters it is so pretty. The courtyard is chill, the common area in the front where breakfast is served is lovely and the roof is awesome. Our room was great with AC and Wifi, a comfortable bed and beautiful art -- not to mention water that stays hot even after you shower in it for a bit. The staff was AMAZING (Ricardo, Orlando, Elizabeth and the whole team). I had food poisoning on Christmas night and the staff couldn't have helped me more. They were extremely attentive and made sure I was back to being 100% by the next day. If we had any questions they answered them right away and were very knowledgeable. They helped us book tours, taxis, cars, and experiences -- while giving us insight into their favorite things to do as well. I could not recommend staying here enough. Please say that Samantha and Miles say hi if you book from this review!! We miss them very much already!!

The best hotel in Oaxaca. Price. Quality. Location. Service. Excelent size of the Rooms. Breakfast included. Space for my car. A quiet place in the night. Infront of one of the best restaurants (las quince letras)

Hotel Azul felt like home the moment we arrived. The staff is extremely friendly and provided us with amazing recommendations for places to eat and things to see in Oaxaca (special shout out to Ricardo!). The rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The location also can’t be beat!

The rooms are extremely dark with no way to have any sort of natural light/air enter your room. The Bathroom is very tiny. I like minimalist/modern design, but this is more like a prison cell. It’s devoid of all charm and warmth. Oaxaca has many wonderful hotel options, this isn’t one of them.
