The hotel is truly amazing! Tranquil, clean, spacious, beautifully designed and the employees are amazingly gracious and welcoming. We enjoyed every single moment of our stay. We were happy to use high quality toiletry products, it was a wonderful touch to relax your senses. We’re definitely looking forward to returning to oaxaca.

This was a lovely bed and breakfast in a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and as pictured online. The noise from the street was very loud at night, especially the barking dogs. The bed was comfortable but a little hard for my taste.

Absolutely lovely staff, especially Gustavo. The breakfasts (chilaquiles!) are wonderful and they bring them your room. It's in the middle of the city so there is some noise, but that is true everywhere. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and the tile work in the bathroom is stunning. Had a private patio with a huge bathtub. We truly enjoyed it.

We stayed there for 4 nights, It’s exactly how I saw it in the pictures and even more beautiful.. I loved the design, the location was perfect. Our room was with a big nice terrace.. nice breakfast and a very friendly and helpful staff 🙏🏼❤️ highly recommended ..

Gorgeous clean hotel, lovely and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, perfect location. Oaxaca city was a wonderful place to visit, a very artsy city with plenty of things to do and amazing food. The city felt very safe to walk around at anytime of day.

Gorgeous place. Incredible design, history, art, food, service. Makes me feel proud to be Mexican as this places exemplifies the beauty and complexity that is Mexico. The places was designed and curated my a renowned artist from Oaxaca. Everything was exquisite.

Casa Carmen provided my husband and I a five star experience the entire week we were here. The hotel is beautifully appointed and is perfectly located within the central district of Oaxaca. Besides the hotel’s excellent breakfast and our room’s (much used) terrace the favorite part of our stay was the service provided to us by Carmen’s staff. A big thank you to Gustavo and Shelem, along with the cook and cleaners who made our stay with them so perfect!

I recently stayed at Casa Carmen in Oaxaca and was thoroughly impressed. The boutique hotel’s design, curated by artist Amador Montes, creates a unique and artistic ambiance. The spacious rooms are impeccably clean, featuring comfortable beds and modern amenities. The central location is ideal, within walking distance to key attractions like the Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzmán. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, providing personalized service that enhances the stay. The complimentary breakfast is delicious, offering a variety of local dishes. I highly recommend Casa Carmen for a culturally immersive and comfortable experience in Oaxaca.

Check in was easy. Gustavo arranged private transportation from the airport. Upon arrival Gustavo provided great directions of places to go and offered to arranged activities including a cooking class close where we met several fun participants. The property has four guest rooms each with their own characteristics. We were provided a menus for breakfast with a wide variety of items. The location was well located between the square and the cathedral. Bottom line great property, great service, and great location.
