Incredible two night stay for our two-day trip to Alton towers! Wonderful cooked breakfast with home made jams and the host gave us a lots of information about Alton towers! We will definitely stay again

I have visited the Beehive with my niece twice now (2023 and this year) as a base for our annual Alton Towers visit. We stay for 2 nights each year and from arrival to departure it could not be more perfect. The host Jo is lovely and could not possibly be more helpful, friendly or accommodating. The rooms are lovely, very clean, very comfortable and so well thought out for the guests with plenty of USB sockets and smart TV. It is in a beautiful quiet location by the River Churnet, so is also a great base for lovely walks in the Churnet Valley. Plenty of parking too. Finally, the breakfasts are fantastic. Lots of choice, local produce, cooked to perfection with wonderful service. I really cannot recommend it highly enough, and we will definitely be back again for our third visit next year.

We stayed here for two nights whilst we visited Alton Towers, which is really close by. The rooms were excellent : very cosy and clean, well finished and neatly decorated. The hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area and the historic building itself.

Excellent stay. Room was so clean, warm and cosy. Joe was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was home cooked fresh every day and tailored it to what you wanted. The personal touches at breakfast were lovely. Food was so fresh and lovely Oakamoor village is beautiful and locals so friendly. Thank you Joe we had a great stay. Laura & Kevin from Scotland xx

Spent 2 nights here for a trip to Alton Towers and had a wonderful time. The guesthouse is a short drive away from Alton Towers which was very handy following a tiring day on the park. The room we stayed in was a good size with an en-suite and was spotless! There was a fridge with tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary bottles of water and fresh milk provided. We also made use of the smart tv to watch Netflix and Disney+ We loved the breakfast with my partner enjoying the Staffordshire Oatcakes and myself having the full English. The homemade jams were lovely on toast! We’ll definitely look to book again next time we visit Alton Towers.

The Beehive is the most pristine beautiful guest house we have ever stayed in and on top of being immaculate, Jo and Steve who own and run it are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is first rate and! they make their own oak cakes! You are welcomed in by Jo who knows the area so well and will gladly answer any questions you may have.. Oakamoor has some beautiful walks as well.

We had a fantastic stay at The Beehive. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and welcoming. Jo was helpful from the outset, suggesting different dates for our stay so that we could make the most of our visit to Alton Towers. She made us feel very welcome despite our late arrival and was informative and knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Our triple room was perfect and immaculately clean. Would 100% recommend!

Wonderful B and B. Jo looked after myself, my partner and 8 year old very well. Stayed in a triple room which was lovely and clean. Breakfasts delicious. Jo was super helpful. Could not recommend more. We will definitely be back. Excellent!!
