Hotel in Excelsis

My stay at In Excelsis was a mixed experience. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, offering a fantastic look at the surrounding landscape. The modern design of the hotel is impressive and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and always strives to make the guests' stay as enjoyable as possible. Their warmth and professionalism made the stay very pleasant. However, it was evident that the employees are overworked and under significant pressure. It seems that the management urgently needs to address this issue to improve working conditions and ensure a fair distribution of the workload. Another negative aspect was an older lady who appears to hold a supervisory role. Her unsympathetic and controlling behavior negatively affected the overall impression. Her constant oversight created an uncomfortable atmosphere that detracted from an otherwise lovely stay. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and has great potential, but the working conditions for the staff and the behavior of the supervisory person need urgent improvement. More attentive and fair management could make a significant difference, providing guests with a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Extremely good friendly service , nice spacious rooms. Run by mother and son, service standards meets any five star hotel. Good views, spacious rooms, probably the nicest place to stay in Pag island. Ten minutes by cab to the clubs it’s a great location. For vegetarians there are enough options made by the chef and very tasty food as well. I will highly recommend this to all travellers.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It's every bit as beautiful as it appears online, but we paid for that and expected it. What moved me to add a review was that the staff were absolutely wonderful - warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The day we arrived, we discovered that our rented car had a puncture. We then discovered that the car did not have a spare tire. I was gearing up to spend my 3 days at the In Exelsis sorting this out, as the car rental company were not helpful. However, a member of the bar / restaurant staff, Ivan, spotted me trying to find a mechanic. Without being asked, he approached me and offered to help me sort it out, making my problem his problem. Amazing service from a lovely guy. He organised for the hotel maintenence guy (whose name I didn't catch but who was also incredibly helpful) to repair my tyre enough that I could make it to a garage. Meanwhile Luzia and another lovely woman on reception had lined up a garage for me, so they were ready for me on arrival. Brilliant teamwork to make a real headache go away and allow me to fully enjoy my time at the hotel. Ivan also gave us an excellent beach recommendation which made for a really great final day on Novalja. So, a huge thank you from us to all the staff at the In Exelsis, whose welcoming approach meant we had a really wonderful stay.

A very nice hotel on a great location with a stunning view and the most beautiful sunsets.. Everything is reallu great but the "Oscar goes to" F&B deparment.. They really do a perfect job so congrats to their manager.

Das Hotel ist sehr neu, dementsprechend ist das Mobiliar sehr schön anzusehen. Sowohl im Zimmer, wie auch im Rest des Hotels. Der Ausblick sei es von der Terrasse, vom Pool, sowie aus dem Hotelzimmer ist einfach atemberaubend schön und auf dem Ostflügel hat man nur die Natur und weit und breit keine störende Gebäude. Pool Anlage mit kostenlosen Handtücher und guter Bedienung. Parkplätze auch genügend vorhanden. Personal war stets bemüht. Grosszügiges Hotelzimmer mit sehr grossen Badezimmer. Das Frühstück Buffet könnte ein bisschen üppiger sein für diese Klasse von Hotel. Die Minibar hat nicht funktioniert und das bezahlen der Übernachtung bereits beim einchecken ist ein bisschen merkwürdig, speziell wenn man noch Folgekosten anhäuft während des Aufenthaltes.

Prachtig hotel. Omgeving niet heel bijzonder. Grote, luxe kamers. Ontbijt is prima in orde. Diner hebben we niet genomen in het hotel. Prijzen van drank zijn wel erg stevig. Veel DJ’s en influencers etc. Niet bijzonder voor kinderen. Vriendelijk personeel.
