I Carusi Relais

I Carusi, how you amaze with the overall experience but also frustrate about little things! First, it is beautiful, with panoramic views of the countryside and ocean beyond, best viewed from the elegant infinity pool. The rooms are modern and elegant, like separate small (very small) villas. The atmosphere is calm, zen like, but to some might be a bit sterile. At times, staying here is sophisticated, but at times a DIY project. When power went out, they had a generator...but you have to reset the fuse box yourself in the closet of your room. Moussa is a wonderful resource when things go awry. Breakfast is good but basic. The establishment, an old estate, is down a narrow dirt path off the main road, which adds the allure but don't count on getting anywhere else fast. You have to call to exit at the gate. If you look past some minor things, you won't want to.

This place is a hidden gem, its beautiful, quiet and full of friendly people. A lot of attention is given to detail - we stayed for 6 nights with our two kids and used the hotel to explore the amazing region full of nice beaches and historical cities. The hotel has a lovely pool to recover from heat and activities! Rooms are well kept and clean!

Very nice and relaxing mini-resort! Beautiful surroundings, excellent rooms and very, very nice staff. Kitchen also super. What more could you wish for? We visited in November, temperatures were still above 20 centigrade. Pool not heated but still open for the ocassional daredevil
