bbq grills, microwave and stove in common area. really friendly hosts. full of campers. on site coffee truck fri-sun. 5 min walk to rock pool, the best we have experienced in nsw.

We decided to stay here as we had to drop one of our vehicles for a service nearby and we live 96km away, the opposite side of Sydney, which would have involved being stuck in peak hour traffic for a lot of the trip, so instead of it being approx 1hr 45 minutes, it would likely have been about 3 hours! Having decided to travel up and stay nearby it seemed sensible to take a second vehicle so that we had some way of getting around while the other was in being serviced (and we had no idea how long that might take!) On arrival, I asked about parking onsite for the second vehicle and was told in a not particularly pleasant manner that only one vehicle was allowed onsite and we would have to park the other in a street outside the park! Once we were onsite, we found that there was a large carpark just inside the park which was only half full overnight and many vacant tent and caravan spots, as well as the parking outside the studio we had had NO other cars beside ours! There would have been absolutely no reason not to allow us to have our second vehicle within the holiday park, other than blind insistence on following a rule. I can understand that over holiday periods and summer, there would be no room for additional vehicles, however, on a Monday night in winter, this should not have been an issue. If you are travelling with more that one vehicle, I would suggest looking for alternative accommodation, although there does not appear to be much in the way of hotels/motels/caravan parks, etc in this locality.

We stayed Lakeside and found the accomodation bellow average for the cost per night. You only get the bare minimum provided and the cleanliness could be improved. Maintenance should be a priority as the TV didnt work ,the furniture was in poor condition and the unit in general was not looked after. Unfortunately i feel we could have got more for our money somewhere else That being said the location is great, especially for families meeting here but all wanting their own space. I think the camping option is good and reasonably priced but the experience left us disappointed

Worst holiday park we've stayed. I don't normally leave reviews but I feel this is the one I must share. The room was not ready by 2. Why not arranging more staffs if it gets busy rather than advertising 2pm guarantee check in? We were only able to get in after 3pm. When we checked in, the room we originally booked had a very strong urine smell in one of the rooms and there was no way we could put our kids to sleep in that room. When I told the receptionist, instead of being apologetic she was rude. No one wants to unpack, pack and unpack while managing 4 kids. They eventually downgraded us to a room with cheaper rates. Pans pots plates are all disgusting. Bunk bed is so old it needs to be disposed right away. Because of the noise it makes our kids cannot sleep in as smallest move they make the whole place can hear it. It doesn't look steady too. They are sleeping on the sofa tonight. Stay at Umina Ocean Beach NRMA or Big4 and stay away from this place. Zero maintenance and I wouldn't even give 1 star.

Very old cabins. They need to refurbish not cheap. Camp Kitchen ordinary no tools supplied. Did the job. We washed up in the bathroom. We were surprised at a premium location how ordinary things were. Did the job for two nights. Maybe they they need to update the camp kitchens

Atrocious!!!! Bungalow cabin dirty! Key not ready until well after 2pm and beds x3 in second bedroom not made and paid premium prices. I have stayed in some questionable places but I have always had a bed made. I wouldn’t expect you to stay at my accomodation and make your own bed.

We decided to make a long weekend during June to see friends in Sydney. Hitched the caravan and drove off to Narrabeen. Lovely caravan park which was not at all busy. For some reason management decided to allocate us a stand underneath all the Pine trees🙈 I’m sure it might be a hit in the summer, but we had NO sunshine on us for the duration of our stay! There were lots of open spaces more suited to winter weather. I’ll advise to walk the park before you setup to ensure the site is suitable for your needs. Otherwise the ammenities are all very clean and well serviced, location is great and there is lots to do in and around the park.

Stayed on a powered site on the north side. Very quiet area with few vans. South side was busier with more vans and more children. Amenities were very clean and the individual security code was easy to remember and made you feel safe. Excellent position if park next to Narrabeen North Beach was excellent. Very happy with our stay.

Loved this caravan park, great size spots. The location was right on the lagoon and the patrolled beach across the road. Cafe’s in walking distance Lots of different options of accommodation, if you have younger kids there is a water splash area which was popular The staff were friend and helpful.

Terrific location and very reasonably priced especially when compared to other NRMA parks which have become far outside our families financial reach. Lagoon on one side and beach the other - surf, SUP, kayak, bike ride, walk or swim. The options are limitless. Park has a small water park and playground for the kids. To be honest not much more is needed as the the lagoon and beach are so close and council parks also within walking distance. Very large sites however they do need some urgent upkeep as most has large dips (understandably though we did stay at the tail end of high season and so maintenance may have been planned for the winter months). Only a few sites have a artificial grass “slab” - it would be great to have more sites with these. Plenty of amenities which was great to see - could of done with more regular cleaning as they were quite dirty at times. Like all caravan parks a stay can be made or broken by the others within the park - we were lucky with families of small kids around us. Not wanting to be a party pooper as I know all parks have them but the go-carts are dangerous as parents let their kids go loose without supervision. We have had our car damaged at a previous park and this time a group of kids managed to get tangled on our awning ropes - thankfully I was in the van as I would hate to think of the damage that could of been caused as the kids tried to tug it free. Lovely coffee cart on site with fresh baked items. Also reasonably priced. Staff friendly and we enjoyed a free sausage sizzle on the first night - a small gesture which means a lot and helps build the community feel of the park. Overall a lovely stay - we will be returning!

We have been here many times previously, in our own accommodation. This time we stayed in one of the cabins for a few nights. We could not have been more disappointed. The quilt/duvet/doona on the king bed (two long singles shoved together) did not have a cover and was not even big enough to cover both beds. The bottom sheet did not cover the beds and the mattress protector was clearly meant for a much smaller bed. One of the mattresses had a coil sticking through it, which gave one of us a nasty scratch (we turned the mattress to avoid further injury). The bathroom was filthy - there was mould growing in the grout in the shower, and also in the floor tile corners. The towels were thin and scratchy and stained. Given that we paid between an average of $185-$200 per night, it was quite appalling. The only redeeming feature is it's absolutely fabulous location.

Disgusting! Mould and dirt in the windows, windows dirty, every bit of kitchen utensil I had to use was dirty so had to rewatch everything. 1 steak knife I had to sweep the front verandah and steps when I got here! Bathroom smelt like urine, oh and to top it Off another family showed up to my cabin as they were also given the same cabin as me!! *** 😳 Everywhere I look I can see someone’s hair or a stain on the blanket. Gross 🤢
