The Devonshire Arms

Myself and my husband recently stayed for 1 night for our wedding anniversary. We eat in the restaurant very regularly and have done for a good couple of years now, but up until recently we had never stayed over. It's safe to say I wish we had done it sooner. It was such as lovely experience. We booked the suite which was absolutely beautiful. Extremely spacious and very luxurious too. Spotlessly clean and lots of nice touches that made you feel so comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our stay included breakfast, which had a nice twist to it in that you didn't just get the standard breakfast, they have a special menu/set up for B&B guests which makes the stay feel even more special. It was of course delicious. Perhaps we are bias as we eat here so much anyway, but we very much enjoyed our stay and wish we could stay more often. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone who enjoys luxury with a more homely feel. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable!

What a beautiful hotel/pub, staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was top notch and the food was excellent. Value for money was off the scale and I will certainly be coming back again the place is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for the price, exceptional 🩷

An excellent stay at The Devonshire Arms on Monday, we stayed in the Robin of Locksley Suite for our 20th wedding anniversary as part of a little road trip. All the staff we encountered were really friendly, smiley and happy. The breakfast lady in particular was lovely We had dinner and breakfast as part of our package and all the food we ate was lovely. Thank you, we had a great time and would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another brilliant stay. Once again John, Jackie and their team made our stay memorable. Our room, dining experience and live entertainment couldn’t be faulted. Hoping to return before the end of the year for what will be our sixth visit…..!

Lovely well presented, clean and spacious room - we stayed in the Mason room decor was fabulous, bed was comfortable ensuring a great nights sleep. Drinks and dinner in restaurant was good as was Breakfast - all members of staff were attentive.

This is such a lovely place to stay very friendly and everything you need we have stayed 3 times now and we were there this week and have never had a complaint and the restaurant is very nice with good choices of menu the rooms are beautiful and cleanliness throughout All the management and staff are friendly and you will want for nothing Try it for yourself

Fabulous stay, real gem of a place great find in a lovely village location. Rooms were 5* with high-quality bathrooms and bed linen. Lovely food in their restaurant and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Will be returning again in the future.

We had a family reunion once again at this wonderful venue. The food was tasty & plentiful & service with a smile. Clean throughout & comfortable seating. Very busy so recommend booking. Car parking restricted but roadside is available. I can say the turkey roast is delicious. Very well presented foods. Thank you to all concerned.

Such a gem of a place. Beautiful comfortable stylish room with everything you would want. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and our evening meal was very good. Very impressed with the staff who were all friendly, welcoming and efficient. Would recommend and return
