Crowne Plaza North Augusta

Jessica and Ruth were very good at meeting our conference coordination and setup needs. They communicated very well in advance and during the conference to ensure we had what we needed. The ballroom and adjacent rooms and furniture were nice and clean. Staff did an excellent job rearranging the ballroom tables and chairs very quickly between different uses (sessions and dinner) and setting the tables. One place for improvement would be the ballroom lighting. There is not enough flexibility to be able to dim some lights so the presentation screens are not washed out and still have the presenter well lit. Another challenge was the inability to do late checkout on the last (half) day of the conference. With checkout at 11:00 and the conference ending at 12:30, it was inconvenient for attendees to check out very early or during a break.

Our firm had a gathering after work at the rooftop bar (Jackson’s Bluff). A wonderful view of the river and sunset. The food was catered by Salt + Marrow downstairs. The staff was excellent, Lorraine went above and beyond! A great place to gather after work. The shelter roof helped shield the sun and has heaters for cooler weather.

I needed a shower chair there was none. We went outside right at 10 pm and no maintenance was available to light the pit outside for us to enjoy while it was nippy outside. They also removed the beanbag game that was in the courtyard. There is nothing for young children to enjoy. No hopscotch. Nothing at all. I'm very displeased because she was not focused on giving Good customer service but went on and on about the extra large party coming in on tomorrow. I believe that I am due a do over. It was a poor customer service experience. They charge for everything except coffee and tea. This hotel is not accommodating to persons with disabilities they have very limited numbers of handicap accessible. rooms. They expected me to go out and purchase a shower chair on my own. It doesn't make since for a hotel of this caliber to have such poor customer service at the front desk and maintenance.There was even leaves in the pool. I am very dissatisfied..

We celebrated my mother’s birthday at the bar on Friday night, and Teddy and his staff were absolutely AMAZING. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our entire group felt welcomed and well taken care of. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere made the evening even more special. The attention to detail and the effort to ensure everyone had a great time did not go unnoticed. We had such a fantastic experience that we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend Teddy and his team!

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza North Augusta to attend a retirement party. Ruth was our representative and contact person for the evening. We had the best time with her. She made sure all of our needs and requests were met. Request her for you next event there.

Hurricane Helene decided to visit North Augusta and left quite a bit of devastation in her path. The stay at Crowne Plaza became a bit stressful for everyone once the power went out. The staff of the hotel had to work under such challenging circumstances. They should all be commended for their calmness, kindness, and dedication. Madison and Chasity in the dining room were very calm and helpful and pleasant. At the front desk everyone was so nice. Poor Ms. Joy was manning the front desk when the power first went off. She had to handle surprised guests, strong winds, heavy rains and more. Each day I saw Shantel, Brooks, and Dora. I know they had so much to handle, yet they were always kind and helpful and patient. Even before the power was off, my travel was stressful. These three ladies always shared a much-needed smile and kind word. They made a difference in making the storm, and life, more survivable. I wish I had everyone’s name, there were very kind young ladies working the bar. A very nice few gentlemen working in maintenance. The housekeeping staff were kind and so helpful! Each person was very kind, even though they no doubt had their own issues from the storm and had their own families to worry about and tend to under difficult circumstances. Thank Crowne Plaza employees!! Job well done.

We arrived no one to help with 4 suitcases. Reception the lady was on her phone and couldn’t care less. After a very long day 8 hrs of driving we entered our room, raced out to dinner to meet friends, arrived home at 10pm only to discover the non functioning toilet. Called maintenance who could not fix the issue. We rang reception who redirected us to a new room and offered no assistance at 11pm to move us. Yes we moved ourselves AGAIN. When we called reception to say we couldn’t believe that we had to move ourselves they just said they were short staffed. My business I wouldn’t say that. I asked to speak to the manager in the morning, only to be fobbed off and told he would call me to discuss my grievance. Still holding my breadth. No phone call days later. Because hurricane Helena was on its way we decided to stay in-house to have dinner with our friends with trepidation. The meal at Salt and Marrow was good, the bar service at predinner drinks was pathetic, and so it goes on. We go to our room and beds are NOT made but towels etc are changed. In the morning, we woke with no power because of the hurricane, the staff didn’t Even have the foresight to provide water for the coffee percolator for guests to have a coffee as there was no power in the rooms. So the moral of the story is that staff training is the key. There is no management in the property and staff training is pathetic Finally we will not stay there again.

From the moment we entered the hotel to when we closed out the tab, your team provided exceptional service. The food and drinks were top-tier, and the attention to detail was evident throughout the evening. A special thanks to Lorraine and Ted for ensuring everything was perfect. We truly appreciated their efforts in making the evening so memorable while at Jackson's Bluff. We will definitely be back and look forward to working with you again in the future!

We had a large conference at the Crowne Plaza North Augusta and I cannot possibly give high enough praise to Jessica and Ruth, who made our conference of 170+ people run so smoothly through incredible effort and ability to come up with both planned and on the fly solutions. Every single member of the banquet and bar staff was amazing with both their attitudes and effort to make our event run smoothly. I had no staff complaints from 180 people! The entire staff will take great care of you, but want to give special credit to Deanne, Tyson, Penelope, Kiyo, and Donovan for impeccable bar service (Donovan handled our site visit months ago plus our event Huge props to them for handling our large group bar needs with enthusiasm and professionalism. For such a large group, the food was great as well thanks to Chef Rod, and the incredibly kind Mr. Pat, who took extra boxes out for me just to help! Daniel with reservations was exceptionally responsive and kind with the infinite group room reservation changes we had, and Josh did an amazing job handling all of the things to keep the conference moving on schedule. We appreciate all of the hard work the Crowne Plaza team put into our event, and would love to work with all of them again in the future!
